Robbyw,
Ironically that could work in your favour as you wont have the emotion clouding judgement.
Not IAG related so other can feel free to overlook this post.
I only mention this Robby as following your commentary with bagging little bits for a free lunch etc its similar to something I do on the footy.
This is by no means life changing money, so no snobbery please lol its just a bit of fun and cheap entertainment.
Ok, so most recently I started with £6, just some change left in my online bookie of choice. I waited for a game that was still 0-0 at half time or there abouts. I will look for high scoring or conceding teams and bet that a goal will be scored in the game. Does not matter who or when.
You can often get odds of 1/4 which is a piddly return when you look at in term of pounds and pence. However its a 25% return in less than 45 mins. I think you can see where I am going. I am now at £50 by rolling it from game to game, in a couple of weeks. I now draw out the winnings each time towards a bottle of gin. Which is 2 - 3 times a week till I lose my bet.
I have had way more than my £6 stake, tons of entertainment and that winning feeling. My mates laugh at me but they loose around a score every weekend pretty much chasing their tails. It wont work if your a gambler, you need the discipline and patience.
P.S I know sod all about footy, I just look at the stats on the tables.
