Thanks. Its all about where you are in your life too and what plans you have. All well and good saying hold for 30 years. I am 44 I want to keep having disposable income to enjoy life while I am young. When I am older I have a rental property, pensions and hopefully stock income too. Thats if I make it 30 years.

Currently out. Fully invested elsewhere. If I had money ready if I saw sub 3.00 Id be in even with results along way off. Hoping to have a decent wedge ready before next results. If I dont, I dont care. Sure I might pay more after April but I will be looking to buy at the low end of the new SP range so I will still make my 5%, 6% often 10%. Price of SP is irrelevant.

What gets me is even with another set of results in tough conditions the SP is still depressed. If after the previous results the drop to as low as £2.96 that was down to a tree shake to shake out "weak" pi so the big boys could buy in cheap where was the hugh rise to surpass that peak? We didnt even get to £3.80 this time round.

If I see sub 3.00 for no reason I will buy some with my pocket money stash and kids stash for them of course.

Just before previous results sold at £3.81. Bought back in around £3.14 in November with the intention of selling again before results. Though, and I am annoyed with myself sold at a tiny profit few days before Xmas. Partly as needed to free up cash, inpatient and just wary that there may be something in the results for a sizeable pullback.

It never surprises me that a SP pulls back even on perfect results but been abit steep the fall. But as you know it bounces back just as quick.

I was invested in ASOS in 2004, made some nice money for the time. Missed out as never held till the £70 peak. But lets face it I would have sold at £4 and danced to bank. Hindsight.

But even with ASOS that drifted for ages at points for no reason.

Jan/Feb generally poor time for revenue.

Im not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch. But Im confident the Brazilian strain will end up like the SA and UK strain. I.e. Vaccine will sort it.

Of course scientists and Drs say they worry it might by pass the vaccine but they worry if you have more than 4 units of booze in a week.

Monday will tell. Not the opening price but the closing price. Good vaccine roll out and forward bookings might off set.

Dude, thats exactly what I do when I am holding something. If I have a stock that I am nicely in profit I will look at everything, anything that could be seen a reason for a temporary pull back.

If the markets are frothy and priced for perfection, it wont be long before it pulls back. And after the pundits on Bloomberg be like yes its because of this that and the other. So if I see plenty of fuel to add reason, justified or not, that could explain a pull back I look to get out. Enjoy the profits and jump back in.

In 5 years of trading this stock I have not had to wait long to jump back in.(Been in since IPO at 80p, had to wait till 2016 to break even after their painful RNS stating trading not meeting expectations). ONce bitten twice shy my friend.

Just because the SP didnt do what you expected it to do it does not meen the market makers are lizards from the planet Zargon.

Its certainly worrying sunsurfer but they have been quite quick to identify the UK and SA variant should still be dealt with by the current vacine without tweaking.

A guy on SKY news who came across quite well also stated that the new virus even if able to get around the current vaccine it wouldnt take long to tweak.

Im sure there are travel corridors open still. Not many.

We held up fairly well after banning travel and closing corridor with Dubai.

The mutations so far have been met with positivity by the experts that the vaccine will still tackle it.

I am begining to wonder that if the new mutations are more infectious that they may actually be less lethal. Based on the theory that generally the more infectious something is the less lethal. The harder to get the higher the mortality rate.

I would be shocked if you did anything other than make money. This is certainly still going places.

I was always a long term trader when I started. Always re-investing my profits which is fine. Then you hit a crash like 2008 and your on a massive paper loss with some companies not surviving.

Since being a trader and taking profits out on a regular basis, like a second income, I am much happier. I am at the point now where my portfolio is all "house money".

I would never berate someone on their tactic. What gets up my backside is a lack of balance arguement. Which frankly is the reason alot of people who may or may not post on this board are regretting any SHORT term decisions.

People have been promised the earth by rampers of £5 by Xmas, £6 at these results and we are at £3.40 what ever?

Its why I kinda side with the derampers on here now even when i am invested.
