Just to add my style of trading its almost all about time/price relation too. Sub £3 it would take me to buy in now with no news on the horizon and 3 months away from the next update. 2 Weeks out from an update I would be happy with £3.20.

Totally respect your view. And I can say hand on heart if I miss the boat on the next ride up I wont be bitter. As I trade like a true trollop I will catch money somewhere else. Its not to be smug nut just jumped off AAZ with a nice lump sum in a week.

I will be honest I have never got into technicals, Im not that skilled. I tend to go for range trading if anything.

I have to ask, what were the technicals saying on the 13th Jan. Not a question directed at you but those who are suddenly spouting on technicals all of a sudden.

I intend to buy back in on weakness to recent highs rather than hopeful highs. So, if I can get in sub £3, I would hope to see £3.30 WAY before results. Lets see it only hits £3.15. I would be happy with that profit.

Buying in at £3.38 in the hope that I will see £3.70 WAY before results is hopeful at best. £3.55 seems a gamble?

I would rather chance it goes lower from here and be happy to miss out on gains that look shakey at best.

My fear is once again we will see those that bring balance (excluding blatant de-rampers) to the board will be poo poo'ed.

I have to agree with some of what Streets is saying.

Been in this game 20 years. And whilst I could of learned more in that time......

I can say BB's have not changed in that time. Be wary of anyone with a single point of view, be it ramping or deramping.

I wonder where share expert is now.........around a month ago he had a real pop at me (so brave online) when I stated that I would be selling before results. Not two days later he is boasting how he made a quick day trade and made X amount. When I questioned him on this I got a typical hypocrite/2 faced answer.

Do what you feel is right based on your own opinion then you can only hold yourself accountable.

No offence but anyone following your advice needs patience. We appreciate your cut and paste research tips. But telling everyone to buy and hold for 30 years is mental when you have no idea of anyones goals.

My advice to anyone holding long term is buy, put them in your bottom draw and forget about them. Dont look at day to day prices and whatever you do, DO NOT follow BBs as you will be in for a roller coaster of emotions.

Theres probably a gap for a middle of the road brand now GAP who is long gone and Superdry on the way out. 25-35 age gap.

We have had a year of lockdowns and while its been good for boo in a sense hasnt done the SP a blind bit of difference.

Another lockdown might strengthen the argument for an online tax.

I have to disagree. Lets just look at the last year, buying a few weeks before results or on bad news would have given most people at least a 10% gain every time. X 4 or 5 times a year is effectively a 50% gain. A very rushed and crude bit of maths.

Ive traded it since 2016 and wouldn't in a million years be holding it long term I will be selling into results when I next jump in.

For Superdry seemed to be influenced by Abercrombie.

Large logos, stores that were dimly lit with loud music and good looking staff. Looks like its is going to follow a similar fate.

To be fair I still get the odd bit of superdry stuff. Mainly swim shorts and gym wear as its decent quality and in a sale good. But Im 44. My kids wont follow my shopping patterns out of principle.

Serious question. How can it be playing by the rules forming patterns but being played by the markets too.

Id be more confident of cheering this on sub £3. Not because I think that is a fair price but I think thats when it will be a bit more loved.

Given the last two results day highs have been lower it dont feel like a bargain buying at these levels this far out from the next update.

Infections would have naturally fallen through the lockdown.
The effect of the vaccines will be protecting the vast majority of the over 70s and possibly front line staff like teachers and police.

Hate to point it out but the traders will never go away. Thats why they are called traders. What impact day traders actually have on the price I cant quantify. But if I had a pound for everytime someone said "Thats the tree shake done now, all the weak holders and day traders have gone" I would have at least £90.
