The next MSCI quarterly review date is 9 Feb 2023 and the next rebalancing date is 11 May 2023, effective 1 June 2023.

Avacta is now in the UK Micro-cap index. If we get favourable news about the AVA6000 trial and subsequent developments before 9 Feb, the SP would likely warrant Avacta being back in the UK Small Cap index (or even a higher MC index).

Are stocks ever added to the MSCI indices following the quarterly review dates and, if so, under what circumstances?

A sepsis test would be a flagship test, as would one able to distinguish between respiratory infections requiring intervention treatment, as would ..., well Avacta will be looking at unmet diagnostic needs, niche markets and market sizes. I very much doubt they will be looking at a replacement covid only test that can compete with cheap Chinese tests and existing ordering habits.

Isn't it being held by the MMs at 102p per share? Even with what has been bought today at 107p and above, aren't they still holding a huge number of shares? Well, that's my understanding of the after hours UT and sell prints. If that's correct then can we expect 103+p to be the base price for buying for a while, until those shares have been shifted? Barring any news of course.

There's nothing in the protocol (as published on the ClinicalTrials site). Continuing to dose a patient who is responding very well in what is a dose-finding study would be a question for the ethics committee and would, I should think, require approval from the body that authorises clinicla trials, that being the MHRA in the UK.
