@gmcc, whilst you may be in paper loss just now you were very probably in paper profit just a few months ago. And, like myself, will be again in the future.

As regards that quote from the 21 June dose escalation RNS when the dose had been 250mg/m²:

"If even higher doses of AVA6000 are tolerated then this may make a significant difference to the outcomes for patients in the upcoming efficacy study."

The 310mg/m² dose of C6 is 24% (TWENTY-FOUR PERCENT!) higher. That this dose escalation was 60mg/m² whereas the last one had been 50mg/m² and all previous ones 40mg/m² indicates that they have a pretty good idea of where MTD is to be found and that it is just or quite a long way north of 310, so one or two more DEs.

That being so, C6 would continue to completion and as we are now some 4 weeks into the dosing the 2nd dose for the first patient will have been assessed. No news continues to be good news.

@JohnHenry, if you think the SP will drift down to 60p, who do you think will be selling below the current 95p level?

The under researched, the impatient and those who flit from one quick buck flower to the next quick buck flower all might, but who else?

When this share turns it can turn quickly. Isn't it more likely that the share will trade within its current range of 100-120, give or take a few pence, shooting up and drifting down until SP-shifting news breaks?

I'm not questioning his commitment, I'm saying that if he, his wife, other directors and their spouses were seen to be putting their own cash into the company rather than just having allocations and options then the market might see that as commitment to belief in the company's future and that would support the SP.

That might also explain why management aren't doing anything to hold the SP up such as buying shares on the open market, themselves or spouses.
