What's with the 'we', trader?

If they are looking at three indications (SGC and 2 sarcomas) in Phase 1b and selecting one of those for Phase 2, then they've had all the breast cancer patients on the trial that they're going to get. There were a few but only a few. As I remember, the majority of the 'other' cancers were CRC.

Well we knew that there would be news (the two posters about pipeline drugs to be presented at EORTC) and now know there will be more news (the R&D Spotlight day) in October, as well as the possibility of some really good news about revenue, but many holders won't and traders and shorters have done a good job of driving the share price down and spooking those uninformed holders.

@Bigears, I get the impression CC is using RNSes sparingly (there is a cost) and using them to combine bits of news. Releasing an RNS just to counter the Cuddon slur would have sounded defensive and so I understand why it wasn't done. However there were two bits of news during that time - nomination for the Scrips R&D in Oncology award and attendance at EORTC in Barcelona on 24 October - both of which highlighted the promise of AVA6000 and the pre|CISION platform and would have been an ideal opportunity to slip in a strong note about how AVA6000 is exceeding expectations and the clinical trial results so far are amazing for end-of-life metastasised patients who've undergone multiple lines of treatment already.

The bloke from Deutsche Bank was playing the market for the people that wanted a lower price. His entirely fictitious and malicious angle was that AVA6000 doesn't work, so the company is worthless. In which case, why 40p and not 30p or 20p? Purely because 40p was the lowest he could go without being called out as obviously, even by AIM standards in the FCA's eyes, corrupt and manipulating the market on behalf of third parties.

Well the dichotomy between the share price going down when Avacta speaks and up when the Twatterati post is because of their different audiences: those for the Avacta presentations are interested in timelines and funding; those on Twitter, on the science and trial results.

I didn't notice it at the time. It sounds like it could be a recording fault. Don't know where the extra bit came from though, or why she said/was saying that. Her presentation was pre-recorded I think, no?

As regards reporting to health authorities, that is for all in human studies and approved drugs. Toxicities during animal studies do need to be reported to health authorities when submitting applications to do in human studies, as do any in vitro toxicities but that's all a matter of course as all findings need to be included in the applications so that the health authority can make an initial assessment of the safety of a proposed trial and place any appropriate requirements and restrictions on how the in human study should be done.

So let's just read, watch and cogitate on it. And let the three amigos and their side-kick-cum-fluffer Icecool get on with creating green boxes. They're very good at that and really should get paid for it, all that work they do. Just leave them to it.

@ipadtrader, it does seem rather a waste of money to pay a dealmaker £kkk/pa, and keep him on the payroll, when the company isn't ready to sign deals yet. He has a big entertaining expenses budget as well I suspect.

ADCs are supposedly targetted to tumour antigens by means of the antibody. However the linker between Ab and warhead is liable to split due to non-specific enzyme cleavage (i.e. not like FAP-specific cleavage of AVA6000) and, I'm sure I read somewhere, also by change of pH (acidity/alkalinity.)

The R&D Spotlight day is a week after the two posters of pipeline prodrugs at EORTC in Barcelona. It could never be before them (because conference presentations have to first disclosure) and will be about as near afterwards as possible due to returning from Barcelona, the weekend and setting up.

We've heard before what the chosen Phase 1b indications are but they are keeping details of the dosing regimen - dose level and frequency - close to their chests for the time being. Maybe to be revealed this morning?

On a side-note, I like that we're no longer getting blow-by-blow updates on the trial status as we did with Alan. They truly are now 'just getting on with it.'

Thanks JT. So there'd be two bunches of shares: AIM shares and ones on NASDAQ, often called ADRs (American depositary shares) I believe. And when, as there almost inevitably will be, there are further fundraises, are there designated amounts of funds/shares for each trading platform? Again, I guess so.
