You can't force a sale on someone. Heard of buyers market and sellers market? Avacta are in a buyers market until they have enough revenue to not be DESPERATE to sell. Then it becomes a sellers market. Meantime Dx should by now be providing income, albeit a small amount of income, to the coffers, so the need to sell isn't totally desperate but they do need to sell in order to get the revenue for the balance sheet and to present themselves as a pure play pharma company.

Today was a Good Day for Avacta and the fact that the share price didn't rocket is down purely to no revenue but rather the prospect of expenses being attached to the RNS - the bean counters' horizon - and people like DimAndNotWise who haven't a clue about the company, the tech, the industry or anything beyond where the next rainbow might appear.

There was no revenue with the RNS, just the promise of more expenses. The Dx sale, and especially a licence deal or two or a partnership or two - or a FDA ODD trials grant, is what we need. Revenue! ...And to be a going concern for the next year.

I prefer to think of Avacta as the dog that barks a lot but doesn't bite or run or chase the hare.

MTD means the dose level above which side effects/deaths become unacceptable.

Maximum number of cycles is related to the maximum lifetime cumulative dosage.

By all precedent, the share price should drop, but we can live in hope.

It's always very instructive to read the posting history of hyper-enthusiastic new/rare posters, particularly their Share Chat Post Distribution over the last 30 days. Traders.

Well the Dx sale and commercial deals are not within Avacta's power to control. Deadlines there can only be aspirations as such things depend on others' R&D strategy, independent minds, budget priorities, external forces, etc.

Are you saying CC should put the latest trial data in an RNS rather than waiting so as to be able to present new data at a conference or in a peer-reviewed journal article? What's your logic for that? Similarly for announcing an update to the NCT04969835 record - do other companies do that sort of thing (one's that don't smack of desperation)?

Remember CC is talking to big farmer as well as investors every time she talks about the company's strategic direction. I'm sure she's keeping it flexible and deliberately opaque.

It looks like he's spent his academic and employment career in the WV/VA/MD area just NW of Washington DC and is of an age to have a young family rooted in the area. Philadelphia is a lot closer to home than Boston where Crescent are based, probably commuting distance for him. Has GlycoMimetics disappeared yet? It seems to me that he was still CFO there until joining Avacta but was headhunted way back in October - or put his name about himself when he'd decided to not join Crescent.

Interesting, but doesn't seem to have come to much.
