"AVA6000 already de-risked the Pre|CISION platform in humans."
Let's unpack that bold statement. It's certainly true that AVA6000 works in humans. Part ot that proof at the preclinical stage was testing AVA6000 against FAP and RELATED ENZYMES. I, personally, have not seen that work reported for AVA6103. IF AVA6103 is cleaved by enzymes related to FAP, then there will be off-target toxicity. If the work has been done and reported, then good - I've just missed it.
Also, AVA6103 is structurally different from AVA6000 - very different actually (remember this isn't 'plus and play' tech), so how it is metabolised in humans isn't known. It could be inactivated, it could be made toxic, or - as most of us hope - it could work brilliantly.
There are possibly other reasons why big farmer isn't chomping at the bit to get at the platform quite yet.
