Yes, it looks like global unrest and mass attacks (as some on here seemingly were willing, in the name of saving this outfit) have shocked the hydrocarbons market, (as expected), but also as said, it might put a bit extra in the coffers, but it is not something you should be pinning as a "benchmark" price, the real underlying value is more like 70p or less going into the spring/summer.

Don't worry your selves, you are so, so certain it is ALL under control (well Trafigura control) that there is nothing at all to worry about, this will come out of suspension with 5 star rating, more money for less because trafigura says "they worth it", production will see 0.25 and some kind outfit in the Guff of Mehico is going to give this wonderful outfit an almost free chunk in exchange for their wealth of ermmmmm knowledge,, chillax my friends, all is good in the world, 1p will soon be a knocking (well after a heavy duty placing and then a significant consolidation because this shower of sheite likes to consolidate !!

Honestly, it matters NOT a JOT, why ? because after 2 years of good revenues, 12 months of that being a total grace period, with revenues for that period standing at £37.1 MILLION, they confirmed their pot was as good as empty when it came to the time of making that 1st instalment.

That confirmed they had burned through pretty much all of that on basic Opex, because other works (Capex) were confirmed to be paid from the £20 million leftovers of the generous Trafigura loan.

So all that really matters is that THEY basically confirmed their cash burn on Opex is about £1.4-£1.5m per month, so they need to generate £4.5m per quarter, PLUS the quarterly debt repayment sum JUST to breakeven.... Like I keep saying, at best it is a "just enough to keep the lights on" UNLESS they somehow create a depleted gas field miracle and start hitting 0.25m.cum per day to get some bankable returns.

Meaning their pure existence totally depends on the outcome of the workovers and productivity, which is what Trafigura are almost certainly waiting on, before ANY decision on lights on/off is made.

My gut feeling is that Trafigura were expecting the first instalment without issue, to then effectively be told that this shower does not have sufficient funds to make that first payment.

Then their creditors likely have asked for some detail on WHY they are unable to make good on the deal, especially after the generous grace period.

Then this shower has had to bleat that their Opex is consuming almost all their revenue (at production rates at the time), and they have then had to come up with some plan to correct this, and here we are today, they likely told Trafigura they needed to do this workover and presented some possible post workover production numbers, that show they "could" meet their Opex and debt sinkhole instalments, probably not much more than that, but as said before, they will likely keep the lights on, Trafigura will be the beneficiaries of production for the foreseeable and retail will simply take it where the sun don't shine as usual...
