I think the vast majority of us are convinced this shower WILL get a deal over the line, Tragi "allowing" them to do this very basic workover program to up production is logical, everything to gain, little to lose, in that Trafi (who hold ALL the cards) want their money, sooner than later.

The bottom line is not about the deal, but what is there going to be to give retail a break !! and as it stands with past Opex & hobnob costs being so high and consuming almost all previous revenue with NO debt repayment, then all I see at best right now, even with the hedges, is reaching a level of covering Opex, hobnobs and debt repayment, with likely just a small excess to cover contingency.

Where IS that retail upside going to come from ??? no one seems to be able to come up with anything realistic or viable...

It will ALWAYS look like a smart idea "only when prices are at or below the prices set" but they will be short sighted mvppits if it was to do similar to when Ukraine was invaded 700-800.

For Angus, it is THEEEE only option they can take, when you OWN a sinkhole of DEFAULTED debt and you proved in the previous two years to suspension, that your revenues were insufficient to pay a penny of that debt..

It demonstrates nowt, simply because THIS was the only thing Angus could do (the simple workovers) to up production to show they can at least meet the sinkhole repayments & Opex, Trafi had nowt to lose by allowing them to do this.

It does not really demonstrate Angus are that good at all, as it is just a typical process in tertiary gas recovery method. it is simply a LAST ditch attempt to save their arisses....

OFTEN depends on if people are responding with their own rampy carp and attempts at winding up, lack of reality etc ETC

I am not remotely tormented by Angus, the weald has been of notable interest to me for a long long time, and those ermmm operating in it.

I find it interesting monitoring such operators as this, and their practices and bad practices.

Call it whatever you want, it is their operational & management efforts that ultimately lead to the defaulted debt sinkhole mess they are in today, you stick to your "resulting end" of this, but it was already pretty much driven down the wrong road a LONG time ago..... understanding that they are really bad at what they were doing was ALWAYS going to result in disaster & suspension

Nothing changes in reality, my projection remains exactly the same.

1) They will scrape through a weak deal with Trafigura, likely over a longer period, to counter the potential penalties for default, and to lower the sinkhole of debt quarterly repayment plan.

2) Production will drop off AGAIN as induced liquids build more quickly due to lowering flowing pressures.

3) They will almost certainly incorporate some pipedream blurb to wash through a notable placing for you lot to hang your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow hats on.

4) Highly likely the volatility will drop prices like a stone the minute some kind of line is drawn in the sand with Iran/US etc.

5) The upside dreamers will continue to rally on about the 1p club for some time to come.

6) Opex will increase as they fight the liquids battle, and the cost of this tiny workover project they are currently on will oddly cost a huge chunk of any pot they were holding on to (a pot built on DEFAULTING)

7) Royalties owed will likely be handed down to shareholders as has ALWAYS been done in the past, just to dilute a little more.

8) followed by some sort of "consolidation" which is the ONLY way this will see 1p ever again.

I think you will find I am actually understating the seriousness of the mess they are in !! BUT hey each to their own, My industry instincts called it right at 1.7p, and I doubt that is ANY different NOW....

We are not talking about exist or extinct, they almost certainly WILL survive this, but YOU will not see any retail upside of note, other than as folk did on UKOG, including yourself, spouting carp to only see it fall back on it's arisss, which I also stated would be the case..........

Ocelot, do not talk sheite, it is super simple, go back through the RNS's for the quarterlies for the 24 months prior to suspension, add up those TOTAL revenues and you will get £37.1 MILLION,,,, yes it is total revenue for those quarters, and YES they had FEK all left at the time of DEFAULT suspension...

= what can ONLY be mostly Opex and hobnobs they spent it all on, BECAUSE the booster etc was done from the NOW defaulted Trafigura loan.... as stated BY THEM
