By the way Ocelot, prices hit 160 yesterday, and tumbled right back to the low 120's OVERNIGHT, same with crude, as said, relying on geopolitical tensions for retail upside is VERY naïve, though I know your bosses only want you pumping out the supposed positives relative to their agenda

Ocelot, they are far from "gentlemen", they almost destroyed the whole thing through greed, bad management, dire decision and insane royalties and debt deals.

This is nothing more than a "salvage" job, rather than a "class management act"

What it does demonstrate, is that this shower still have an active working relationship with Trafigura, (assuming ALL hedging has to go through them).

I still think that even with these prices, they will only cover debt & Opex at best, considering their Opex prior to suspension proved it drained their revenues 95%, without paying a penny of any debt.

As said, I will be the first to raise a glass if they somehow crawled out from the sinkhole they created and displayed a solid forward plan with solid retail upside... But without a captain and most importantly, one that knows what he is doing, then this boat is still firmly stranded on the banks !!!!! literally.........

An RNS stating they HAD concluded an ermmmm restructuring of the debt sinkhole, and stock will come out from suspension within days would suffice...

They could also have included some "expectation" on that as a minimum rather than tell us what we mostly know

The reality is that you are simply now pinning your hopes on impacts far outside anything to do with what this shower of sheite is capable of, they have proven themselves incapable of delivering retail upside time & time again, along with currently being driverless due to the likelihood no one wants the seat.

As said, I will be the FIRST to raise a glass if this shower were capable and demonstrate some TRUE retail growth, but I fully expect nothing more than a "keep the lights on" roadmap, with Trafi now at the forefront of taking most of any revenue, and leaving a trickle to keep this shower doing the dirty work, along with a likely hefty placing feathered with some more nonsense pipedream carp.

Into the 160s! = The higher the number, the closer it gets to our own front doors, be careful what you wish for !! AND it was also here last week on a short spike, typical weekend of unrest, starts the week off badly. I am sure your bosses are popping the champer's.

Trafigura "might" take in to consideration the current anomaly in prices due to Middle East battling, but I am almost certain they will base ANY realistic restructuring on a more averaged and typical pricing, as they themselves will be more than aware that such anomalies can fall back over night.

I personally think it is also the best way for Angus to fight for a "MORE BALANCED" repayment plan, as they would also be screwed if trafigura were to set it too high based on current prices, THEY WANT THEIR MONEY, from a heavily depleted field, sooner than later as the monger they allow it to spread over, the higher the risk of ANOTHER DEFAULT

Well one thing this shower DID do, is demonstrate they NEED around £1.4 million per MONTH for Opex, hobnobs etc, BEFORE any consideration to ANY debt for ANY of those owed significant monies. remember they even failed to pay their 8% royalties from cash in bank, they passed that on to US..

So even though flow rates are notably up, they are still ONLY where they were 18 months ago, so other than the global blood gained price increase, it would generally be barely enough to cover debt & Opex, Hobnobs etc.

There is ONE thing certain Ocelot, YOU were pounding the UKOG board when it came out of suspension, egging everyone on for your bosses, when all the time it was a huge setup, AND I said it was at the time, and that it would end quickly back at ground ZERO, where it resides AGAIN.

YOUR credibility is dire, so be careful !!

Always amuses me to see the usual pom pom waverz jumping on global price influences, in the very stupid belief that this is some kind of saviour for this outfit, when in reality, as HAS been seen numerous times, these abnormal movements are "often & mostly" very short lived.

What I will celebrate is a REAL forward plan, with REAL prospects for upside, driven by a CEO that has proper control of all aspects of the business, unfortunately, at this time the Angus pram wheel cart is still driverless, which says a LOT in itself.

AND other than the global unrest windfall that this shower will benefit from, (sorry Trafigura will benefit from), the outlook is still VERY bleak. unless by the luck bestowed on them from others death & misery elsewhere in the world, this pricing sticks for long enough to fill "some" of that enormous sinkhole of debt they have accumulated through bad management and decisions, and gives "some" additional breathing space.
