As far as I am concerned, looking at what is in issue to the MC clearly shows if a company is at least delivering in some modest way on what they have been raising for, and UKOG clearly shows from that, that they pump out confetti and deliver worse than nothing. if you cannot see that then get down to specsavers lol....

Sorry, but we will have to agree to disagree on that, 23.8 BILLION shares in issue tells it's OWN story about what this or other companies do, so looking at that says they do placings for fun, and the resulting MC for ALL that they have raised, which is "supposed" to create investor upside, is a long term disaster.

Add to that, even for fast buck traders to take a punt, will look at it and not want to be exposed for more than 10 minutes, as no one wants to get caught dipping in, and then waking up to another 2-3 BILLION issued to fill the Hobnob cupboard up in the dirty tea shack.

Most looking at UKOG for the first time will look at the fundamentals, see the MC, and the number of confetti shares in issue and immediately come to the conclusion it is nothing more than a disaster outfit.

They need to consolidate badly, and they need to do SOMETHING half decently, anything !!!

As for traders, well, there is ALWAYS money to be made, doesn't matter how good or bad an outfit is, but to expect a rally here of any note with everything taken into consideration, then it looks dire !!!

Not really, it is all a pittance for 10 years of HH trials & tribulations, and it makes not a jot of difference to retail punters, there is still nothing but pain for them, they are just looking after themselves.

Probably have been told they will not accept the Stetson Kid coming in unless SS pays up the outstanding loans first.

Maybe a major or two have looked at it, but simply were not willing to go anywhere close to the kind of deal that was eventually struck, my opinion is that any of the majors would have wanted far more and give a lot less.

I get you GP, and yes the swamped with traders is a reality, but everyone is a pesky seller at some point too.

It is more about the imbalance for me, OK, it is something many of us have seen many times, decent news comes out and it barely gets chance to stick its head out the water before it gets sunk, but it has a bit of a different wiff about it today.

I had even considered if some element had accumulated on the back of talks, especially more so if they have rejected a low ball hint of an offer/buyout, I don't know, but regardless, I also feel this will bounce back well, I cannot see anything they have put out today that justifies this reaction.

For sure there will have been a fair number with positions ONLY focused on this news and expectation, we have seen cycles every week for a few weeks now of runs up into close on Friday and then back off again on Monday, but even those trades/traders would not have such an effect over the full session.

Do you not find it a bit odd, that we dipped at one point 25% down, yet the total traded was only about 4% of the total in issue, I find that a fair bit skewed, I mean typically I have seen that kind of heavy dip when it is more like well over 10% traded in a day, doesn't quiet sit right to me !!

I have a great life thanks, I enjoy every minute of every day, even on here, great people, great discussion, great atmosphere, just such a shame it is one of the worst uninvestable outfits on the stock market, but heyyyyyyy you cannot have it all lololol

MOST still invested in this outfit have had to build an additional outbuilding to accommodate the confetti, as it got too much for the bottom drawer a long time ago.

The reason for low volume is simple, most are wise to this shower, so no one wants in, and those holding (apart from you, insidious, Adrian & Peeee booo) have given up and doing something more constructive with their lives.

One thing you'll learn "maybe" is that when you have had a good success in ANY stock, you firstly remove your OWN skin out of the game, and then remove anything above what you want to continue trading with, which is EXACTLY what I have always done, and I then put it into bricks & mortar so it is out of reach from putting it back into the market.

Who knows what the average of the "100k" chunks seller is, he could very easily have single digit average, as some will have here, and with such a likely substantial holding, you need volume to get it away.

Personally I don't care about today and the reaction, it has provided me with a chance to accumulate more at a price I didn't expect to see, and others will have done the same.

Tomorrow is another day, focusing on a day like this can simply put the head in overdrive and result in making poor decisions. The deal looks pretty decent to me, better than I expected, and now we simply wait it out, plenty of activity coming with high news flow rate.
