Insidious,
If you look at the total history of this outfit, then it is VERY obvious that not only have they failed to deliver ANY retail investor upside, but that they also show a blatant disrespect to Retail too, they simply do not care, as some have said, it is more a "life style" outfit, than one that takes on a project, and delivers upside for both them and Retail.
USUALLY outfits do a placing to raise, and present the plan that they will utilize those funds on, USUALLY with the intention of multiplying the return on investment in a timely manner, and OK, not every project goes to plan, and some do fail, but this shower has more lives than a ferkin cat,
I mean gezzzzz you would get £6m + per year interest if he just stuck the lot in a decent fixed rate account, which is about 90% more per year than what they manage after spending £110 million and issuing 23.8 BILLION confetti shares.
Can people make money here ?? even now ??, well theoretically yes, but by ekkkkk you need to be ultra sharp, along with a fat dose of luck, but then why bother ?? there are a 1000 other companies out there that you can take a much more calculated punt on with far better chance of a profit, Basically you need your head testing if you seriously think this is an outfit worth a punt these days.
Why am I here, well, although I did handsomely out of it early on, I bailed at just the right time, the cracks today resemble something more like the Grand Canyon.
Is the Weald a waste of time and money in general ?? no not at all, there will still be other commercial pockets to be either found or extracted, but not by this outfit, I am surprised they manage to tie their own shoelaces in a morning, and I would not like to see some newbie punter come along and get suckered into it without at least seeing some of the reality, it needs a serious health warning on it !!!
You likely have the attitude of "well it's dog eat dog" in this world, but Pi's are up against it in this world, and the real objective should be to "beat the market" not rob your neighbour...
