Every other metric on their results is arguably a lot worse than what ASOS just reported. Much lower revenue's, steeper declines, much lower EBITDA, roughly the same level of net debt, net equity a lot worse etc, yet the market cap of ASOS is only c.60 million higher? I'm not sure I understand why its jumped so much this morning.

Reeve's just mentioned the customs duty loophole and closing them so all businesses pay their fair share, but I didn't catch when this will come into affect, did anyone else hear?

I think if he didn't troll this board so much, and actually offered constructive debate, people might show him some respect. He's obviously not wrong, but he cannot communicate like a normal human.

Yep agreed growth is required for that. I just tried to get the recording to watch that part back but its not available yet.

I think they said neutral as in they're aiming for 0.

They said in the investor call they’re aiming for a neutral net debt position; and their ebitda guidance assumes no growth.

As much as I find Roberto’s posts to be mostly trolling/spam, I wish I had listened to him a year ago. This share has been a right dog. We’re heading for the £1’s in my opinion, I can’t see anything that justifies the share price being above book value here unless we see potential for future growth; and there was a lack of any such guidance. Sure there are green shoots, but the equity of the company just drops rapidly year after year it’s insane. We have to pray that the customs duty loophole gets scrapped in the next budget and even if it does I’m not confident this is going anywhere any time soon.

I wonder if they're waiting for the next budget so they can offer more accurate guidance on results; I'm clutching at straws here. Is there a deadline by which they must post full year results?

Yeah it is shocking really, like what are they waiting for? At least tell us when results will be posted and not leave us in the dark. I think something is brewing here, in a bad way. Share price at (what would usually be considered as) rock bottom, yet shorting is still increasing. Something leaked perhaps?

I imagine that caused the drop at 4pm. If they’re shorting at £2.38 god knows where this share will end up.
