busta look around and I bet most private investors on most AIM shares are probably waiting for information of some sort, at least we have had Western Block and 3D information in last couple of months and have a London shareholder presentation, hopefully we will have some excitement in near future.

As far as I am aware not presenting publicly elsewhere and very definitely not a mandatory event that DW has to do.
If content much the same as last February's presentation (apart from Western Block) I can not see what the point would be so I remain hopeful.
Venue suggests a more formal event than the Globe,

when someone initially posts that if no farm out announced this coming week then it is too late.
raises a doubt about the farm out process. "negotiation"
mixes up tax credit repayments with performance bonds for what ever reason
and talks of picking holes in the balance sheet.
The company has told us the situation via the August presentation & half year report which is audited.
mikemike IMO understands the financial position very well.

No farm out and some big decisions will need to be made, but we have no idea yet what negotiations may be happening.

mikemike interestingly a lot of the indigenous population & native corporations are not anti the ANWR project, more the greens who do not live there, may happen but who knows?
I have suspicions ( that is all) that Yukon Gold may be on target for someone, oil is proven, Point Thompson not far away. DW may make a strategic decision after all he completely threw us when he bid and won the leases and somehow latched on to someone else's 3D permit, like Nanushuk E NS has a lot of interest and potential and what stopped exploration in the past (remoteness) is gone.
Can not see Springboks beating AB unless they play first XV and out of skins, you do not out muscle the current Blacks.

3rd August presentation was clear that only scheduled (Western Block) drilling programme was covered by existing funds, the balance of activity was preferably dependent on farm out negotiations.
None of us know what the present position of any negotiations are and none of us will until DW deems it prudent to tell us.!
Of course there is a possibility that the Farm outs will not happen.
Forensically going through the accounts reveals nothing at this stage other than to confirm what the company has already told us.

The repayment of the bond should not be related to the tax credit situation, the latter has not been handled well by SOA and exacerbated by a vexatious IMO court case, may still be paid this (SOA) financial year.

I have a suspicion that Yukon Gold may play some part in all of this, Nanushuk may be the hot play making most of the news but there is a lot of activity and interest in the Eastern North Slope.
Rule nothing out, we heard nothing about OEL/Armstrong or the ENI/Caelus deals until they happened.
LTH here know what the score is, if we want a full and complete winter drilling programme we need MONEY, how we get that DW is trying to sort now, we have to trust he will do his best.
We have to be realistic and ask ourselves is the Company better served forging ahead or do we continue at present pace or even slow down.
My view is the former.

It would be good if there was news at presentation date but why if no farm out by presentation is a CR inevitable,
I am unsure of all timescales but believe we have a little more time for farm out negotiation.
