based on recent trades actual spread is very different to that calculated via advertised bid and ask.

As uncledazza says no cause for excitement yet, current trading is between 0.5c & 0.6c and that has been situation for quite a few days, last trade buy or sell impacts on final reported price also.
In the UK the bid and ask are meddled with (mainly spread) to move the mid price but again very little tangible movement just at the moment.
Volumes are low both here and in SH too, remember that because of the middle man situation a transfer of a package of shares from one investor to another in AIM gets reported twice.
Quiet at the moment as we await XCD finalisation and then next operation news / plans.

Not sure about the AIM rule in respect of a situation such as this.

14:14 not wildly au fait with other AIM oilers but I would be sure that very few ever give guaranteed information slots, from the little I read on other boards lack of information is a regular complaint, companies will always try to release information best to limit / maximise advantage goes with the territory and no matter what a few say here DW is not the worst IMO.
Need to look around get some references as to how others actually do their business. :-)

12:03, 12:06 yes like SpineFX I have slowly realised how tough making it in Alaska is, the rewards potentially are massive but the road to success is a bit like the "wibbly wobbly way" and not as straight forward as a few still believe, still here and will continue to be but as part of a balanced portfolio and prepared to take profit on any spikes.

09:57 Rabito do you have any views why following the Alkaid drill in 2015 and for various reasons (not least the Dalton Road flood) was never flow tested by GBP to prove up their leases in the way PANR did, yes I can understand that GBP had major financial issues and on top of that Nabors applied and got a lien on the Alkaid lease and well but GBP still had Ed Duncan (at that time) & Bob Rosenthal at the helm, plus up to date 3D so surely a partner to to finance a flow test would have been preferable and possibly easier to find (compared to drill partner ) to what happened after 2015 (nothing).
Perhaps we do not realise how well DW did to negotiate that FO with PMO, looking positively even if the result was disappointing data was gained :-)

What we are about;

I am awaiting news flow and forward plans to resume once the XCD situation is resolved either way, just because no recent Ops ANNs issued does not mean work on permits, Farm Outs etc is not happening .

Morning sprintman just hanging on too and waiting for the dust to clear from the XCD situation, a lot is unsaid /uncertain at the moment regarding future plans , with the volumes of shares that DW,ME and the BOD of XCD are going to have in 88E I can only imagine that plans are advanced so some activity this winter and financing of that is in place or being worked on , just my opinion like everyone here it's all supposition at the moment.

COP are stating $40 per barrel with developed working units and pipeline infrastructure in place, when they get their monster rig properly on stream no doubt further cost reductions are potentially possible.
