Side wall cores always the plan, during the planning there was always an expectation that one of the conventional zones would have been flow tested and given the constrained time (winter season) available I doubt that any thought was given during planning to a possible speculative flow test on the HRZ in any event , besides who would have been paying for it?
Exploration Credits repayment is written into SOA Law and the intention of the legislative is that it will happen even if that is at the minimum repayment levels current, we await the Appeals Courts decision and see what happens in respect of bonds, recent volatility makes it difficult to predict whether the scheme would work or not.

Not certain why HL have taken this route, it may just be temporary during Covid-19 but I would have thought HL would be effectively fully staffed as employees working from home would be able to perform almost all tasks securely (working through a VPN), they must have reasons :-)

Just had a reply from HL regarding Bed & Isa dealing.
"I'm afraid we don't have an expected timeframe for our Bed & ISA service to return. However you can still sell your holdings as normal and once the trade has settled, the cash can be used to top up your HL Stocks & Shares ISA – utilising your 2020/21 ISA allowance."
Guess have until April next year to resolve.
Not sure how other ISA providers are operating during Covid-19.

Although GBP were not listed money was raised from private investors and also GBP had a loan facility with Bank of America which I assume was backed by Exploration Credits (SOA), I seem to recall a figure of US$120M or so being owed to GBP by SOA not sure how much of that is due and as GBP was effectively a private company difficult to assess unless in the PANR take over documents , reference to the Alaska Recorders Office may shed some light but as to all the various activities, mortgages and liens that have occurred since 2010.

I have followed GBP for almost six years, the changes of strategy, the changes in management, the changes in owners, the bullish announcements and the massive lulls when all activity stopped etc
Ultimately as a junior explorer they depended on either going cap in hand to shareholders, borrowing from the bank against security of SOA or trying to get a FO partner.
None of it pleases everybody all of the time and some of it is not always easily available, GBP were heavily exposed to SOA export credits scheme and ultimately PANR took control.
Since we drilled Icewine#1 the only well activity on GBP's leases was the successful flow test ~12m ago of Alkaid-1, I have never been able to fathom how the old GBP even if they had no money had not convinced/found a partner who would have been willing to complete that, after all they had three winters of opportunity, although not part of Otto's original deal you would have thought it would have worth a shot to someone even the drilling + analysis companies.

I have looked at how the UT trade should be calculated and have pretty always failed to see any logic, today's trades read much as Friday's or even marginally up.

we have a few options on when data is to be released based on that ANN of the 20th April :-)
Will we see it this month or after the sums are known for XCD, would prefer something as complete and as definite as these reports ever are, rather than loads of interims.
Guess we have to be patient :-)

As you have spotted there are opportunities elsewhere to make your money work for you even some FTSE100 companies have offered great returns post the lows of Covid-19 with ultimately very little risk.
AML has been dealt a great hand of cards, a billionaire as Chairman who has topped up the kitty, the appointment of Moers and I believe Toto Wolff giving his support to the appointment and indeed taking a stake, its all positives for the market.
Could we entice a similar industry big hitter, indeed would we afford one and the facts in terms of assets and finances would ultimately remain the same, yes a change at the top might produce a flurry but even a 134% increase on 0.3p will only ensure that those standing at below 0.7p will see a profit :-)

HRZ may in time prove itself but we are a long way off at the moment and we desperately need success in conventional projects.
But I have not closed my mind to HRZ completely and will await next news with interest.

I think it will be a while before any news on future of HRZ, my opinion is that conventional projects inc. Peregrine offer us the best opportunities of near-middle term success, but if it isn't impossible it must be possible.

XCD deal will probably not be finalised until some time in July so we may need to be patient as no doubt plans for NPRA winter 2021 (if happening) will be released after deal complete.
