We have detailed quarterly reports that give projection of next quarter spend and bank balances so it's possible to work out a possible / probable target period , even then some wilfully misread or worse claim great insight.

Not certain how much cash the take over of XCD actually cost ( and remember they bought some $ to the table) but a CR would have been inevitable at some point and unless the FO for Icewine conventional or Yukon gold went through in double quick time we would have had no project (drill) in winter 2021 to raise a little excitement.
Of course on the other hand we would not have seen the share issues summer- Autumn 2020 .
We knew this CR was coming not sure what other options we had in reality.

This CR was going to happen because release of quarterly reports indicated it would be needed, what would posters prefer we run out of cash and ultimately lose our leases due to none payment of rent, what value the SP then.
What happens without cash in the bank - nothing much positive.

Not really a surprise, the only surprise for me is that the usual suspects are not on here baying for blood whilst working out the best moment to buy in, rinse and repeat :-)
