So the Bird does hold some golden eggs in BMR.. "Mr Bird holds an interest in 506,250 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.21 per cent of the existing issued ordinary shares. As noted above, Mr Bird is a director, and chairman, of Jubilee Metals Group Plc, which has an interest of 29.01 per cent in the Company and is expected shortly to enter into a joint venture and operating agreement with the Company in respect of the Kabwe operations."

Yeah a bit odd to do this right now but news must be close. Just makes me wonder how much we are going to be paying the guy. At least there's a chance he could retire any time lol - I'm hoping he leaves us with some golden eggs rather than leaving with a golden pension...

Yeah but surely the placing wouldn't have taken this long. That's why I'm thinking the JV might get signed off first. Who knows.

Not sure, AB said "shortly". My guess is that they are finalising the JV first, then they can apply to resume trading.

Hopefully it will be just that, a "recovery story". Like you say it depends what's in the RNS, there are some smaller details that need to be known and I'm sure all will be revealed "shortly". I'm expecting a rise but I'm not going to guess I'll just see what happens, but I don't think there will be any need to hide behind the sofa lol. More like obsserve with some popcorn, especially if Paddy shows up commenting.

I've always said 4-5p on JV signing but maybe this placing could hold it back a little. Saying that the 5p warrants within 6 months make things interesting.

Do they own 40% of our tailings? Or do they only get 40% of profits from tailings processed? I don't think JLP have ownership of anything at Kabwe. See below from RNS: "BMR would retain 100% ownership of the Kabwe Large Scale Mining Licence, tailings and infrastructure (the "Kabwe Assets"), and a minimum of 60% of the economic interest in the long term post-tax profits of Kabwe operations"

It'll be interesting to find out some of the finer details of the JV. It would be disappointing if we don't see any of the profits from production until we have repaid JLP. It could take around 6 months to pay that kind of money back. We need to start being clever with our finances so we don't run low on cash again. It's been our main downfall for a long time now. It's stopped us from reaching production in the past, and if we're not careful it will stop us from growing. I believe we have options, it's a case of choosing the correct ones to benefit us the most.

I'm thinking if ACI don't come up with any money, we will likely look for another off-take agreement which could lead to an upfront payment. We could then use that money to help pay off the �2.3m (plus 30%) to JLP. Alternatively, once we reach production and start to sell product, we could probably take on a low interest loan and use that to pay off JLP in a lump sum. That way we will have the flexibility to use cash flow from production for Cap Ex, to repay the new loan, plus have some spare for reinvestment into the plant - just a thought! Another idea is the WKS. If we can start selling that by year end it would probably cover our admin costs whilst we wait for income from Kabwe sales. Either way I think we need to come up with a better solution to pay JLP back. It's too risky to rely on the money we have in the bank and waiting until we repay them using proceeds from Kabwe sales. Get it sorted AB! I look forward to hearing your plans...

Yeah it's not easy mate. lol yeah I don't get the mentality of those who buy right at the top. Perhaps they are scared of missing out and think it will go up further, sometimes it does, but rarely. I suppose on the other end of the spectrum you have those who try to pick the bottom, that can also go wrong. It's all about buying and selling somewhere between the low and the high - easier said than done.

Saying that you wouldn't have done too badly buying SPE. Take a look at the 2 year chart. I've traded that a little but wished I had bought a chunk a couple of months back.

Very true, I've seen it happen a fair bit. Best to buy low sell high. It's all in the timing lol

BMN has done very well. I have it on my watch list but wished I had took notice of it sooner. I notice they had an equity raise recently but it's not stopped it from rising. I'm wondering if BMR might defy gravity for a while also. As we know nothing moves in straight lines but I'm hoping for an uptrend here all the way till year end. Hopefully we might even hit production a couple of months early which would help.

I see Paddy accused you of being a ramper over on the JLP board lol. Good luck with your trades here. What kind of price target have you got? I agree that there might be a good chance to sell high and buy back lower.

Strangely enough I was thinking the same thing yesterday, invite Paddwah out for a drink, talk things through lol. But given some of the things he's posted here I doubt you'd get any sensible conversation out of the guy. I can only assume he has something against us. Judging by his posting history he's backed a few losers recently. I've come to the conclusion that because his investment in JLP has been falling back, he's now envious of BMR that is about to enjoy a nice rise (in my opinion). I've taken him off filter for now, I'll be observing his posts. I don't see him as a threat but I'll be keeping a close eye on him after suspension is lifted. I'll be here to defend my investment, and my fellow shareholders. I don't mind if posters appear on here with some sensible negatives about BMR, I'm always up for a friendly debate. But some people are only out to spread malicious rumours, and take satisfaction when investors lose money. Paddwah is one of these types of people. He needs banning from the boards full stop.

Just caught up on the late night posts. Some very sensible conversations, well done chaps. I think there will be a fair few wanting to average down here, now that our story has more chance of becoming a reality. I say good luck to those who wish to top up. Luckily I did all mine before suspension, I've always believed that this will become a success story, so had no problems putting more money in. I might take up a few more depending on how the price behaves but it won't be much. I think they will want to get the JV signed off this week if it hasn't already been done, followed by the placing or ACI cash, or both? Should be an exciting week. Good luck to all holders.
