Other headlines in the Q3 from Next: Full price sales in the thirteen weeks to 30 October were up +17.0% versus two years ago. Full price sales in the last five weeks, since the update given in their Half Year Results issued in September, were up +14.0%. This is better than their forecast of +10%. Plus NEXT is maintaining its Q4 full price sales guidance at +10% and full year profit before tax at £800m.

Reading between the lines most of the UK's LFT businesses are very frustrated indeed with the UK Health Security Agency's lack of urgency for the UK to get on with a sovereign LFT test. This has been brewing for months. AVCT's CEO said a few months ago: "The AffiDX® test has been developed in the UK, is based on UK technology and is manufactured in the UK are huge selling points for customers in Europe."

Yet again the UK Gov't are dragging their heels. ODX, AVCT, ABDX, etc could all do with more UK support from our Government. The UK Health Security Agency are just being so slow and it is hurting our world beating UK LFT sector, which in turn will be costing lives and jobs.

Come on UK Health Security Agency / UK Gov't can we please now invest in our own technology rather than from elsewhere.

Takeda is indeed a very interesting shout. As some of you will recall our CEO Tim Mitchell is the inventor of Oblean® (cetilistat) which Takeda was very keen on licencing from Norgine following the Alizyme Therapeutics deal. i.e. Takeda will be fully aware of how good a scientist TM is. One to watch as you say. However, I'm still more inclined to think that GSK is a front runner for a licencing or takeover deal for Sareum, followed by Merck MSD. Good luck, Brighty

We’ve had nearly 4 years now of a diminishing share price under our current ceo. That is sadly the actuality for long term ITV shareholders. Where’s the ceo’s vision to create shareholder value? We heard all the blurb on her appointment about how effective she was at taking a share price and doubling / trebling it. I don’t see any of that. The Guardian is hardly a financial success story. Adam Crozier had a plan to create shareholder value when he was ITV ceo. Remember the 250p a share days at ITV 6 years ago? We urgently need someone similar to Crozier at ITV to focus on delivering for shareholders. I don’t want a ceo who is content with a share price languishing in the 100p doldrums (& below). I want a ceo who is going to take the share price to 250p+. Just look at our assets and our value potential. It is huge. i.e. The CEO's reign has been an unmitigated disaster for the ITV share price. IC now echoing what we've been saying on this forum for months that 35-50p is fair value. In due course this will be in the ££££'s. For those that missed the updated price guidance from IC, here it is:
"In the past week, Tek has closed a crowdfunding early for its Innovative Eyecare subsidiary and filed draft registration documents for a US IPO, the implication being that operational progress warrants a decent premium to the US$20m pre-money valuation previously placed on the business. In addition, the US Food and Drug Administration has provided the food industry with voluntary short-term goals for sodium content in commercially processed, packaged, and prepared foods to reduce excess population sodium intake. This is a major positive for Salarius, a food technology business that owns a patented process to produce nanoparticle sized salt, Microsalt®, a new all natural, non-GMO, Kosher, low-sodium salt. Tek’s 97 per cent stake in Salarius has a modest book value of US$3.6m. I raise my target price from 35p to 45p to reflect these developments".

SDC-1801's Covid beating potential would certainly be, as the article states, a "remedy for GSK's malaise". GSK has activist investor Elliot Management biting at their heels re the GSK R&D pipeline and it has been reported widely that GSK has some very big patents due to expire in the next decade worth billions. Plus there s a lot of positive links with GSK and Sareum. Their senior vice president and head of research for R&D in the past was our NED Michael Owen. Our CEO Tim Mitchell spent his early career with the company as did our scientific advisor Harry Finch who was GSK's director of chemistry for R&D. I still wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that GSK is one of the leading candidates to do a licencing deal with Sareum. Rome wasn't built in a day! This will come good. The Alliance Family deal last year and the move to AIM put a temporary halt on the then relentless upward share price trajectory after its shock fall from 100p to 10p at the start of the Covid outbreak. The sp recovered quickly from 10p to 80p and then the Alliance deal slowed the sp down. BWNG was over 150p at the start of last year before the crisis in retailer confidence and remember this used to trade at over 300p 4 years ago and much higher 7 years ago when the sp was over 550p. I've every confidence that CEO Steve Johnson and his team at BWNG are taking the business in the right direction since the departure of the former CEO Angela Spindler. Yes £2 a share inbound and with data already showing that "treatment is leading to a threefold likelihood of recovery" you would have to conclude that if successful - & it has all been pointing in that direction - when the news is revealed the SNG share price could literally skyrocket. It will be takeover or major licencing time if the results are as positive as they have been to date. Good luck, Brighty

Exactly and the really good news is that things are really hotting up in our sector for 2022. There are at least three sports-betting related ballot measures in California slated for next year already. A x 10 of the current share price to 50p is very possible here. A big operator will be keen to gain a licence in California and a takeover of WEB will be on the cards in due course. Exciting times for all Webis investors. Right sector. Right time. Yes, It's certainly possible that we get a 100% gain in 1 day if the news is as expected. It is also worth pointing out that ABDX is currently half its 96p IPO price. Plus ABDX was over 120p a share in January. A 100% re-rate is surely likely up to the mid 90-100p range at least. This month is turning out to be very interesting indeed. The eight day difference from the results this Monday (25th Oct) to the following Tuesday (2nd Oct) for the IMC is unusual for Sareum and provides quite a few days for pertinent information to be RNS'd. 67p-70p is where I think the Lloy share price will be by the end of the year, now that we have seen the headway Barclays has been making.
