Cool heads required. Nothing has changed.19 Nov 2021 11:10
1. Covid / Agile news update could / should be on the way very soon = licencing / takeover or more HNWI investing
2. SDC 1801 has a profile superior to dexamethasone = wow in the pharma sector = licencing / takeover possibility
3. SDC 1801 licencing deal on the back of point 2 has to be a fair assumption = BIG £££ deal in the sector
4. 737 Sierra licencing news (such as Gilead / Merck / AZ / Lilly etc taking it on from SRRA or SRRA still progressing with it) = commercial milestones commence = £££
5. II / TR1 / HNWI investment news via Peel Hunt and previous roadshows = more cash to progress to licencing
6. Global patents secured = ducks in a row = licencing / takeover or more HNWI investing
7. NCYT, SNG, AVCT, ODX, PYC etc demonstrate that pharma stocks with news can soar, as per my previous examples
8. OR as Thoth, WIP, Searle and many others have suggested here for many years a possible takeover
I'm all for challenging the Parker / Mitchell approach to comms and PR, especially when you factor in point 7. It is dire and the launch pad was here in the summer for a much higher share price with some effective PR stories in the trade press and Sunday Times etc about Sareum. The lack of PR after the "SDC 1801 has a profile superior to dexamethasone" news was very frustrating indeed. I would go as far as to say it was incredible. It was clearly a cracking opportunity for the company to talk up its science. They failed to do so but lets get real they always have been dire with their PR in the 10+ years that I have held shares in Sareum. An NDA might have been the reason? That was / is my hope. However, look at 1-8 and you realise that we are all invested in something very special. OK the directors, perhaps, are poor communicators and a CEO with a more commercial approach to comms would be welcome. I would prefer to see Tim and John focus on the science and leave the deal making and PR to a more comms savvy ceo. In summary, we just need a better newsflow to keep the share price more stable than it currently is. The lack of news with AIM listed plc's is a tactic that has been proven time after time to impact negatively on a share price. So, come on Sareum we have 4 weeks until the AGM for news to drop. It did last year, twice. The share price never looked back after that. Here's to some news soon....Good luck all Sareum investors. Brighty
