Hi Garbled, seems a long time since we met at the rockhopper AGM.

It would not be uncommon for delays in the development stage but barring a black swan event, any delay would be months not years. Navitas have a full project team up and running and from what i understand are ahead of plan with many deliverables. Let’s see what the upcoming Navitas update brings.

There is little doubt, in time and not before too long, the Rockhopper share price will be substantially higher than it is today.

Hi Garbled, I hope you are well. It seems a long time since the Rockhopper AGM when we met.

Borders remains an enigma for me. The blocks will have their day but when is the real question.

Things are fluid. There was interest with Borders by a mid sized player but that seems to have evaporated or gone very quiet.

Anyhow, I hope we meet again. Rockhopper AGM this year perhaps ?

We have now passed the Ides of March and the clock ominously ticks onwards. I had given my investment here space to run until the end of March before reassessing it. I remain invested at a comfort point to any downside here.

Industry chatter has evaporated. The recent exercise of some warrants at 10p can be viewed positively but the financial outlay involved was modest.

The oil price will retrace at the end of the current Iran war, which is probably days away or a few weeks at most.

Can a rabbit be pulled from the hat at this late stage of the game ?

We have seen a consolidation of the share price in the 70p to 75p range, give a few pence either way. Rockhopper’s market capitalization of around GBP 600M looks cheap considering Rockhoppers future production, reserves and financial commitments.

I thought the share price would head upwards in the glow of the current oil price and oil stocks generally. However, it looks like the share price needs hard news. A third partner is still some way off and perhaps Navitas’s upcoming update will shed some light on Sealion progress.

My holding in Rockhopper remains intact as I see the company being a billion dollar enterprise before getting bought out.I believe there remains tremdous upside in the share price and I am happy to be patient.

I would be very surprised if Eco took any involvement in Namibia’s PEL85 block. In addition to PanContinental requiring a partner with deep pockets to fund a well, there is a reason that Woodside walked away from this block.

Eco has more than enough on its hands with its current portfolio. I have underestimated the importance of PL001. I understand that this will get a drill early in Navitas’s Sealion development drilling programme.

We should see South African or Guyanan news next.

I am surprised the share price is sitting in the mid 60’s. There are substantial buyers behind this share pushing the price upwards. We will see a pound before too much longer.

For year Eco’s four Walvis basin blocks ( now down to three - PEL 97, 99 and 100 ) were light weight additions to Eco’s portfolio.

It is clear that the Falkland PL001 block will have its day and that Block 1 CBK and 3B/WB will add immense value to Eco. Guyana will add great value from Orinduik and Canje may or may not add value.

The three Walvis blocks remain intriguing. Eco has been attempting to farm these out forever.Focus on the basin as Namibia’s next big thing has intensified and Chevron’s entry into PEL82 with talk of ten wells and drilling later this year or next has spiced things up greatly.

Eco’s can play various tunes with the blocks - one large farm out or separate block farm outs. Farm out before Chevron’s drill or after will affect the terms that can be negotiated.

It will be a Major that farms into these three blocks. Total, Chevron and Shell are all in Namibia directly with BP participating through Azule Energy. XOM is active across the border in Angola.

Industry chatter suggests XOM may well enter the Walvis basin through Eco’s blocks.

The North and south Falklands basins are very, very different from many viewpoints.

Eco's entry into the north basin with the PL001 block values the block at about half of Border's capitalization. PL001 has great prospectively but no proven resources.

Borders "oven ready" development is debatable.

I continue to hold Borders. The clock is ticking. This is a red or black bet now.

The JHI deal has been well telegraphed and it's good to see that Gill has now got it over the line. I think Eco has got a good price for the acquisition. Block PL001 in the Falklands has got very good prospectively , ECO have good carries and discoveries can be easily commercialized. The Canje block is intriguing. If XOM negotiate a block extension they will have to commit to a few wells and Eco would need to find the cash for their share of the wells (or farm down on Canje, possibly to Navitas).

Of the upcoming deals, the JHI deal is the one that will move the needle the least. Orinduik could be very, very interesting and the Wallis blocks farm down could be equally intriguing if the deal(s) are good.

We now have Eco above 50p. That did not seem likely just three months ago. I think the share price is cheap if the upcoming deals get executed successfully. Goodness knows what a drill and strike should do for the share price. Gill's throwaway remark of a 10 bagger from the mid 40's is optimistic but not unreasonable.

Thanks Blissful, I had missed this video and it’s a very good watch. Harry and his team come across very well in the video. There was optimism in the room ten months ago that a farm out would get done. Time is ticking. I am aware of several companies who have looked at the farmout and undoubtedly there are many more outside my radar. If the project was that good it would be much further advanced by now. Deepwater, new basin, hostile water, geopolitical risks, gas condensate all tell you why we are where we are. Sealion, which is a great project, took forever to get a suitable farm in partner and get to FID.

It’s 50/50 for me now on Borders. I derisked some capital but am happy to let my current holding stay for the ride … for now.

Come on Harry. You have talked a good game. Let’s see the execution.

Gill was certainly in a very confident mood at the energy conference. It's very good for a CEO to show confidence but this is Gill's achilles heel. Long term holders will have heard the same farm in predictions many times over. Yes, this time though, I do believe it is different. Dammed if you do, dammed if you don't as a CEO - difficult job.

I suspect we will see 50p before too much longer. It's been a crazy ride since early December 2025. Gill talks of a ten bagger from here - that's optimistic in my opinion but Eco will be traded in pounds not pence within twelve months.

The share is not without risk and nothing is guaranteed. I am very optimistic though about the Israeli investments and investors.

The third man remains lurking in the shadows. As to whether he will show his hand is open to vigorous debate and challenge.

Time is ticking with Borders and irrespective of us all wanting a deal announced, the facts remain where they are.

Out of the shadows and into the light by the Ides of March ?

I am expecting Guyana and Falklands news to drop, possibly this week.

Chatter suggests that the Guyana news is very positive with drilling planned for this year.

Ah … my old friend Garbled ! It’s been a long time since we sat next to each other at the Rockhopper AGM.

I see you have returned to the Borders fold for now.

I suspect you may be hearing the same whispers that I am. Could get interesting with Borders.

Getting a deal sone for Borders was always going to be a challenge and requiring great flexibility and ingenuity. For a long time, i didn’t believe this was possible.

The third man may or may not stay, but he is there and has been for several weeks, at least.

I hope the third man can get this over the line.

Good to see the NED purchasing shares yesterday. That‘s a strong support signal for the share.

I feel more optimistic when compared to several weeks ago and that’s nothing to do with the share purchase yesterday.

Q1 remains important to get the deal moving in the right direction.

The share remains very risky and is a coin flip.

I suspect we will see double digits soon as more interested buyers make their play.

Our journeys have many similarities, I too have bought at 7p and close to 160p !

I agree, and this is hard to overlook, that we are at the start of the share price breakout in many ways. It’s been an incredible journey from early December to today. From sub 7p to 37p.

The institutions recently bought in at 27.5p and this is the new starting point. Warrants at 40p, could be viewed similarly.

One thing is sure, history has told us with Eco that the share will breakout upon a drill spud and boom on a strike.

I am not one for predicting future share prices as there are too many variables. With Eco it is possible to see a future with a solid three digit share price.

2026 will be a very interesting year for Eco and hopefully very profitable for long time holders.

I was in Sharkeys last nights - the dancing girls were having lots of fun sipping Angkor’s with the locals, whilst playing pool. The refurbished pool table had been a big success.

I spoke to one legged Pete who was looking less stressed, but more sober, than the last time I saw him.

To my utter surprise I saw an old friend talking to the Barman. The friend had not been seen in Sharkeys for years, decades even. I asked Pete what this bright friend was doing ; Pete replied that the friend was going through a divorce and was out looking for new action. Interesting; very interesting.

It is not often you get excited about a company’s share volume dilution !

This is excellent work by Eco to get institutional investors buying in at 27.5p with offers of future warrants at 40p. Echos of Rockhopper’s recent raise on the deal but Eco have accomplished it with much better pricing. Obviously Navitas are behind this.

The big question is what have the institutional investors been told to buy at these prices. We know Orinduik is close to calling and the Falklands is suspected to yield a surprise for Eco.

Gill is a “wheeler and dealer” but I hope that Eco’s focus on their current portfolio for now and spud a well(s). This is where the company changer will come.

Like a lot of punters on this board, I was disappointed at Rockhopper’s share price reaction post FID. I did not anticipate a retrace to a share price in the mid to high 60’s.

We are not working through the institutional and open offers and these bits of business and associated share transactions should be behind us very soon.

It’s pleasing to see today’s broker note and a good increase in the share price.

We are now entering a period of news flow related to contracts and planning. The FPSO will leave the North Sea to get refitted this year and a rig will mobilize next year.

A third partner and/or a Rockhopper sale are very possible.

Of course risks remain with Rockhopper and the majority of these risks are now associated with project execution or a sale of the company.

Barring any black swan, event I would expect the share price to climb steadily this year and push the 2025 high of low 90’s.

I had planned to derisk my holdings here post FID, but I have now decided to remain fully invested for the one pound party !

Medium to long term this is a great share to be invested in. The North Falklands basin will deliver over a billion barrels of produced oil.
