Hi, Bondrich... Were you the 20,000 sell ? or 100,000 ? or both ? We must hear news in the not too distant future -- sorry to see you jumped ship
Sterling Trust in admin = 53.99% of company If PE and assoc have done a deal or are making a low offer which is successful then we rely on - YF Finance = 17.201 % Is this allied to PE ? Not sure what their entry point was either - but may be irrelevant if taken private PE is last shown as having 7,000,000 shares = 1.2% Gap of 2.61% = 14,650,000 shares - easily bridged IMHO by family etc.... If the Sterling administrators are minded to accept a low offer long term PI's could well loose heavily.
Jeddicat - Thanks for pointing that out. I do , however , still find it odd that this information is conveyed in an RNS entitled ' Audited Results for year ended 31 March 2015 ' and in the very last paragraph ! I would have expected an RNS entitled ' Notice of AGM ' - - SEE rur rns of 22 June 2015 as an example. Almost as if it was meant to be hidden ? Did you go ? Did anyone go ? It would be very interesting to know what , if anything else , was discussed as the fate of IPSA seems to be entirely dependant on receiving funds from Rurelec !

Interesting RNS on IPSA Grp today. Result of their AGM ! The only indication I had seen was on LSE ..the week ahead saying that IPSA AGM was this week ! Looked at the IPSA notice board and saw no mention ...thought it might be a mistake ? If I was a shareholder in IPSA ..I would be livid !!! Also - the only resolution reported is the appointment of Sue Laker as a director ? She is also the Co. Sec at ...mmm let me think ??? ...oh !!! Rurelec !!!! mmmmm --- And the only other director at IPSA now ....aha !!! Peter Earl ! What was that about a reverse takeover ? Seems like a frontal assault to me !!!
Hi, Optimist I was beginning to think I had imagined your earlier post in my sleep ! As I had looked at the BB just before retiring for the night expecting to pick up the thread this morning !!! Anyway ..GFD has my email contact too. With your shareholding and Julianb1234 we are well over 32 million , so we are clearly in a position to call an egm if we feel it is necessary.
Hi, WM If Optimist comes on board we would count 29 million shares which is just over the 5% margin required. I have not heard from many others on this bb - Jeddicat , Flightman and others - so I dont think there is any problem to call the EGM , but we need to set an agenda
Hi, Optimist and all I am now in touch with holders of more than 24 million shares - so very close to being able to call an EGM if need be. Please either send me a private message or let me have your email address and I can update you .
Hi, Joseph Glad to have your support. The more shareholders we can co-ordinate with ..the louder our voice. I will update you on the latest situation my side by email.
Hi, Tony I will send you an email. Please confirm when you have received it. Glad to have you on board
Hi, Jeddicat Please let me have your email address
Emails resent
Dear PR, Just tried to copy you in with a further email but message rejected ?
Dear PR , Email sent...
Hi, David According to the Rurelec website the total shares in issue is 561,387,586 Just need 5% to call a GM
GFD...sent you an email Flightman... Will the SFO act ?? Is there enough evidence of wrong doing ? If 5% of shareholders call a GM it only requires 5 working days notice
Dear PR, I hope you should have a private message in your inbox.... Flightman , Would be good to have you onboard . Please send me a PM if you wish to participate.
Hi, Dave I have sent you a private message...please have a look and let me know if it has come through ok. Flightman... At this time we need to give the benefit of the doubt concerning anything untoward or illegal. But I would like to form a pressure group to make sure shareholders are not fleeced. If you read the administrators report you can see that Colin Emson has put a value of about 3p per share as to the anticipated recovery from any sale of the holding in Rurelec. The suspicion will be that they may well come back and say that cannot be achieved and yet we know the underlying asset is worth much more. Its also disturbing that Sterling must have agreed to the appointment of PE and the goings on at IPSA We need to find a voice and make sure the smaller PI is heard .
Hi, GFD At the moment I would like to simply find out if we have enough influence ..over the 5% ..to make headway. Also to pool knowledge and try and figure out exactly what is going on. For example ...RUR shareholders should be interested in the following .. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/01761400/filing-history You can see the administrators intentions . But interesting development at IPSA ..where PE is now a director ( from 1st march 2016 ) and the AIM listing is now a cash shell which MUST make an aquisition ! I will send you a private message shortly.
Are there any shareholders who would like to form a shareholders group to exchange views and information ? Possibly with a view to joint action if needed. We need more than 5% to call a general meeting. My holding is in excess of 1%. New to this board but have been following thread for many months. A lot of speculation ...but last RNS states ..The Directors are exploring how best to arrange for the Company to benefit from the cash generated by the asset in Argentina in which it has a 50 per cent. interest. So..there is cash ..the company in Argentina has it ! So why is our BOD incapable of getting their hands on it ?
