Wouldn’t it be great to see what Will Holland and the rest of the board actually do for their money. Once in a while they put on an investor meet which basically requires them to reshuffle the same PowerPoint slides from the last 2 years.

If we had merged at least the money saved from paying for people to achieve zero could have been paid out in dividends. The serenity gamble destroyed whatever value Wressle brought and the current board appears incapable of achieving a farm out.

So back in July we were informed via an rns that a strategic agreement with Zollner was in place and planning would immediately begin for mass production of various components as demand rose.

Over 2 months later no further update. WHY?

Why does it appear so difficult for Afc to update investors. How many units have we sold to speedy hire? How many units are we producing? Afc must have had to give some projections on sales/ order book to city investors in order to complete the last fund raise which was done so we could speed up production.

Beginning to think that the city bods want to see meat on the bone. You can only spend so much time planning, eventually you have to deliver. Very disappointed

Almost end of the month and still no news on delivered units. I have always tried to remain positive as I believe that the energy transition is absolutely essential.

We were led to believe that there was huge demand for our generators and that they had been put through their paces in various trials with tier 1 construction companies.

It is no longer acceptable for the board to adopt such an aloof approach. We are almost at a 12 month low. Members of the board all sat beside Bond at the agm when he said that this was the year of delivery. We were shown images of the production facility and told that they had capacity to produce up to 200 units a year. Mass production was also alluded to.

I for one want no more excuses. If the sales team aren’t good enough then replace them, if the problem is with production management then they need to go. I don’t want to hear about supply chain problems or other lame excuses.

Cn, your last post almost appears to be clutching at straws. BMW to launch hydrogen vehicle sometime in the next four years is pretty meaningless. AFC have nailed their colours to the decarbonisation of diesel generators on construction sites. If they don’t ramp up production, and do so soon I doubt that they’ll be around in four years.

The bs needs to stop. Afc are not being asked to sell ice to the eskimos. They are selling into a world facing a climate crisis.

Loyalty needs to be rewarded. PR must improve and I’ll be bitterly disappointed if we don’t hear news before the end of the month.

Since May this has lost more than 50% of its value. This in the so called year of delivery. The sales team must be absolutely atrocious given the number of high level visitors that Bond consistently told us were coming through the door.

I look for the red dot every morning only to be disappointed. The behind the scenes’we are really busy’ bs has to stop.

If they really are that busy and the future is so promising then the directors need to show some belief in the company and dip into their own pockets. At least there would be an rns!

I’ve always been a strong supporter of this company and believed in a cleaner, greener future. I’m beginning to doubt whether those working at AFC share that belief and whether they are hungry enough to achieve success. At present they appear to be over paid and under worked. One unit a week in a company with over 100 employees just won’t cut the mustard. We’ve been promised much and received little.

Other hydrogen companies have seen massive falls in their share price such as ITM but they are receiving massive orders now, we’re still waiting.

Whilst I’ve always tried to remain positive about this company and accepted the lowering of the share price as part of a sector wide drop, for example, I TM fell from £7 to adjust above 50p.

I’m now beginning to get concerned about our ability to meet our orderbook. Afc energy has orders in the region of 2 to £4 million with a possible pipeline up to 27 million.

Adam Bond said that this was the year of delivery, at the current rate I’m very concerned that we will not meet our expected deliveries. We have a production run at present is that is producing four generations per month. Unless this level of production is greatly speeded up And agreements are put in place, and manufacturing outsourced soon it is highly unlikely that we will meet even our reduced sales. I recognise that this is a quiet time of the year however the bigger picture has been very positive and we need to show our ability to sell into the market . Adam Bond may be leaving but the other directors all sat beside him at the AGM must be all held accountable .

Further delays are unacceptable.

Some people on here need to get a grip on reality. There are a number of posters who for years have been calling for Bond to go. These same posters now have the audacity to whinge and whine now that he’s leaving about the timing of his departure.

Whilst I accept that Bond has over promised and under delivered, he is far from unique in that respect among CEO’s of aim companies ( e.g.Eqt, phe etc).

He did however position AFC in a market where there’s clearly a demand for clean energy generation. I don’t think he fabricated the numerous visits by tier 1 construction companies. I think that in 20 years time there will be very few diesel generators in the developed world. The big question is will the transition happen in time for AFC to benefit. I still believe it will. Look at the macro picture. Huge investments are being made in hydrogen. Also remember that we are in the traditionally quiet summer period.

Maybe all the derampers will finally sell on what they perceive to be terrible news that Bond is finally leaving, despite it being their long term desire. How low will it have to go before Garonne etc get to quit.

The order book and demand is clearly still there, current levels of production and sales are underwhelming but if they get a large order from ABB or Tamgo and get mass production sorted the relationship Bond built with large players could yield dividends.

It was good to see a gradual price recovery from the shock of the placing last week. We still have a way to go even to recover to pre placing price however if the raised funds help give confidence to customers to place orders knowing that they will be fulfilled in a timely fashion then it could indeed be a profitable exercise. Adam Bond has stated that 2024 is the year for delivery, we are almost half way through and therefore it’s important that we start SEEING and HEARING about systems deployed .

Disappointing that they felt the need to raise at such a low price. I honestly thought that they would have got the share price above 30p before going for a fund raise. The fact that they hadn’t does knock confidence but clearly either ABB or Tamgo or both have refused to sign contracts. Being optimistic, now they have more financial security hopefully deals will be secured. If those deals are announced sooner rather than later then 15p might be avoided

Itm down 7%, we’re down nearly 6%. The market appears to have moved against the hydrogen sector. Add in the high interest rates and the move to the right in the European elections with green policies increasingly being challenged today’s downturn can be more easily understood.

Hold tight and keep the faith. The bigger picture remains the same and we are part of the solution

You’re sounding pathetic Daz. I stated in a previous post that I would be happy with dozens of units rather than hundreds this year. For arguments sake let’s take AFC’s lower number of one hundred units. Do you really believe that the production layout as seen in the video is not capable of producing 2 units a week. I accept that only 2 finished units are seen in the video but others could be in transit or stored.

Any sizeable order from Tamgo, Accoinia or ABB could easily add 15% to the share price. Once we get to 25 p the shorts will begin to close adding further price momentum

As we move toward the last seven months or so of this year I am wondering what most posters would consider as acceptable progress in this year of delivery.

From a personal point of view I would be happy with the following:

1- delivery of at least ten 30 kw generators to speedy

2- delivery of a similar number to Tamgo

3- completion of 200kw to ABB, followed by successful field trial

4- delivery of accionia system with a follow up order of maybe 10 systems

Therefore I will be happy to count success in terms of dozens of units rather than hundreds.

I would hope that by 2025 orders will ramp up towards the hundreds which is where we need to be to achieve hockey stick success and establish a firm base for mass manufacturing to begin in 2026/27. By that stage net zero will be looming large.

The real icing on the cake for me would be a licensing deal for the cracker.

I’m don’t think that I’m being over optimistic

So after attending today and having had time to reflect I still remain positive but feel that timelines are likely to be extended. The cracker technology appears great and can be a fantastic solution for many industries energy needs but that depends on how long before places like Neom come on line producing cheap ammonia ( or North America)

A few of the things that I am most pleased to hear about regarded the layout of production facilities at Dunsford, this will help iron out production issues and will provide a blueprint for the future mass manufacturing by an external company.

My other big takeaways from today are:

1) How severely constrained the electricity grid is, companies requiring 5mw or more are signing contracts for connections years in the future

2) A major tier 1 construction company failed to win a government contract worth £100 million despite having the lowest cost bid. The reason they were unsuccessful was because they had no plans in place for decarbonisation. Recently they sent a large delegation to visit AFC.

3) clearer explanation of the £27 million pipeline/orders/ potential orders.

When afc announce further sales to Tamgo and acconia and orders firm up does anyone on this board seriously believe that raising finance for mass production of technology products that are desperately needed to combat climate change will be a problem.

I remember all too well when ITM attracted a huge investment from Linde, the share price rose dramatically over the next year. Whilst their share value has dropped back significantly they are still in a strong position to benefit from orders when the hydrogen economy takes off.

I think it’s safe to assume that afc will be at the forefront of decarbonisation of construction sites as well as earning significant profits from their new cracker division.

The sad fact is that the negative doomsayers on this board can’t let go of their misery. Why continue holding a share that they are constantly predicting to be headed for disaster?

And if you do own shares here why do you continue to hold when you are so certain you will be able to purchase them cheaper in the future?

Garonne, if you are so convinced that this is heading towards bankruptcy and Afc are a Mickey Mouse outfit I cannot understand why you haven’t sold out. The only explanation I can think of is that you are either a masochist or a shorter.

I assume you believe all the various leading construction companies have been merely greenwashing. That the various national councils that Afc are members of allow any Tom, dick or harry to join. That Japanese delegations are tourists in disguise. That the government hands out grants without any pathway to success.

In future try to show some balance. Almost all hydrogen companies are way below their share price peaks. CWR , ITM, PPS are just a few that come to mind

If GingerT is correct we only have two more weeks to put up with ade. At my age I don’t like wishing my life away so for the next two weeks I’m going to avoid this board as much as possible, enjoy life and return when we have good news and a much higher share price.
