So about 6 months ago WH indicated that he expected EG to be farmed out in either the last quarter of 24 or first quarter 25. It was in January I think that he began to say the first half 25. How much longer are we expected to put up with this nonsense. I was always led to believe that the private sector was hire and fire. That those who were underperforming weren’t tolerated by shareholders. I can only hope that if a farm out hasn’t been concluded by 1/7/25 WH does the decent thing and resigns. It’s pretty obvious that the shareholders are unable to hold him to account for overseeing such a poor performance

As I said earlier the next 6 months will be crucial. Assuming that we pick up the £3.5 odd million grant that’s due in April we might just have enough headroom to buy enough time to do a deal for the cracker. We may yet be awarded other grants and there’s bound to be some income from the speedy deal, albeit much less than we were initially led to believe.

The darkest hour is just before the dawn. A £10 million government grant to kickstart hydrogen off grid production or say a £30 million strategic investment from a major could accelerate us to mass production.

Ultimately it will come down to price. I don’t seriously think people in Europe are wedded to fossil fuels in the same way as say Americans are. The conservative s may be turning against net zero based on their analysis of the predicted impact on inflation. However in many instances renewables are cheaper already than fossil fuels and will continue to fall in price. If AFC achieve parity in say 15 months with a major strategic partner signed up we could be struggling to keep up with massive demand.

I remember only too well people paying £2’000 for a 40 inch tv. The following year it halved. Mass production will bring huge economies of scale.

Whilst recognise that a 66% reduction in the cost of fuel cells is a big ask, if it is achieved it will open up huge opportunities for AFC energy. We are currently supplying hydrogen at £65 a kilo, the management appears very confident that with the cracker technology they will be able to supply that at only £10 a kilo. That in itself is almost an 85% reduction. When coupled with the reduced cost of fuel cell and offered as a whole overall solution we may yet be competitive with diesel generators as the CEO recently stated. It is then that the hockey stick curve may well and truly begin. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed, the next few months will be crucial.

Is it possible that helicon knew the true cost of these generators. If so, it is not surprising that they continue to increase their shorts against AFC energy. A disgruntled employee or a leak from speedy hire would have been sufficient information for them to bet on.

It will be interesting to see, over the coming months, how helicon react. An increasing share price with a strong possibility of a major strategic investor might well encourage them to start closing their shorts if so we could actually rise into the summer. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed.

Today was a breath of fresh air. There wasn’t the usual guff we had from Bond about pricing being too sensitive to discuss as our competitors were eager to find out.

There’s still a long and difficult road ahead, 66% cost reduction on the generators is a big ask. However, the cracker might just save our bacon and maybe even become the golden goose. ITM had a major investment from Linde and that has really secured their financial future and greatly validated their technology. We need to find a similar type of investment. If we’re able to do that and achieve cost parity with diesel generators in the next year we could then start looking at hockey stick sales.

These guys appear the real deal and unlike Bond have put their money where their mouths are. Well done for today

First of all can I take this opportunity to apologise to those posting on this board who were very negative about Bond. I have attended the last 3 AGM’s and believed that we were truly on the cusp of great things. Clearly there was no realistic hockey stick of sales and those who spoke of smoke and mirrors were correct. Looking back it appears clear why Bond left. It was costing us £11 million to get £4 million of revenue

It now depends on how soon Afc can partner up with a major company with deep enough pockets to get the new product to market in the volumes needed. I presume that they have done better research this time around and 500 kg a day is the sweet spot. I do remember a few years ago when Bond introduced the power tower saying 10 kw was where 70 % of the demand was

Either Martin Ive is the worst CFO of all time or the market knows something that he doesn’t. He has literally bought millions of these shares.

Paul M should not turn up at the Townhall event this year and merely show same BS presentation that he did a few years ago showing the wonderful tech and hinting at the supposed inflection point that we had reached. The usual nudge nudge wink wink is no longer being bought by the market. We need to see a clear path to profit. Nothing less is acceptable at this stage of development. If he cannot deliver, he needs to resign and do the honourable thing. The market has obviously lost faith in Paul M. He can no longer hide behind supposed non-disclosure agreements, our competitors do not seem to have this issue. I take comfort however from the fact that a large company such as Mitsubishi has infested and hope that this all goes well for the future.

Not sure why some posters are deliberately trying to spread panic with talk of a placing. I thought that we recently received a strategic investment from mitibushi . I understand that break even has been delayed again and feel frustrated by that news but surely it doesn’t warrant this level of a drop.

Very low volume today. I feel most investors are now just sitting tight waiting on the results. Today’s early drop was an attempt to panic weaker holders.

This share is so undervalued it’s unbelievable. Cash in the bank, strong order book and increasing number of projects coming online. Trump’s policies will soon increase inflation which was the very economic issue that helped him come to power. When the mid term elections come the dominance of the republicans will come to an end and Trump will become more accountable. Cost of renewables are and will continue to fall. You only need to look at the cost of solar panels. In many areas of London they are almost on every street. The future market of renewables is huge. ITM will be a major player

Just imagine the panic among the shorters if ITM used say £10 million of their £200 million cash stockpile to buy back shares. I know that some might not think this is relevant but it would be fun to watch. The anti green greed brigade have had it all their own way for the past few months. The tide could be turning . Half decent results and a few big orders or strategic investments here could prove to be very costly for them

I’m a bit concerned about lack of news regarding the deployment of our generators. However I’m keeping my fingers crossed hoping for big news following today’s launch of the infrastructure bill which also covers green energy. Good luck all
