I think you are right, SMS ego is a big issue here but.... he is getting older and both senior execs and large shareholders are pushing for a sale. It probably wont be until the 2026 results that S$ will really start turning it around on its own. There is also the AI risk which he is clearly cognizant of and wants to be at the forefront but what if we do not get it just right? S4 is not longer the small agile new kid on the block. There has been to many takeovers that there are lots of moving parts which clearly are not driving the synergy that was hoped for. Maybe he does not want to be the only one pushing S4 forward and driving the disparate parts together while those around him want it to be sold.

The company has been in Morocco for less than a year and done some chip sampling. Why would someone pay them a lot of money to 'source' minerals for them? I'm sure there are about 5,000 other individuals and companies better qualified and connected in Morocco than a small player like CMRS.

Think I'd rather see a meaningful share buy back than a dividend at these price levels. £2m was not really worth it, £30m would make a big difference to the liquidity and easily affordable.

Certainly the Corica legal team will be going over the finer details of the contract. If they conclude that we legitimately withheld monies then they may come back with their tail between their legs and more personnel to get this done. Can’t be good for their reputation.

Currently the data isn’t sufficient to support a JV for production. If we want to give away a lot more for a lot less we can bring someone else in to pay for another exploration well. Otherwise we complete the EWT and do another drill then JV on better terms, assuming it all comes good. In the meantime we need cash. Clearing away a placing at around 1.2 with clarity on forward plan will allow this to move.

I got so caught up in the suspension news that to be honest I completely missed that the mine is still operating with other contractors on site, even if not at full capacity.
