Seems like the seller just sold £100k in 40mins so maybe too early to call out just yet. However the fact that we can absorb those kind of sales and still rise suggests we now have at least one committed buyer on board. As many have said, once the seller is gone we will be multiples of the current share price. The seller seems to be much happier selling into the rise now rather than just dumping as has been the case for the last 3 months. The coming news events will be the catalyst for a huge rerate/recovery.

Maybe bonds will take a little hair cut to improve the balance sheet. Definitely in their interest to get the share price up

BDC if a fund decides to sell often it isn't price driven, it can be as simple as reducing allocation to Oil and Gas, geography or the market cap became too small as the share price declined. Might not apply in this case but just an observation that things that don't seem rational close up can be part of a bigger picture view.

Still, I completely agree that selling at this price and this time is utter madness.

Feels like we may hold around here for a while now, momentum lost unless it can be regained this afternoon. There were many profit takers at these levels in the last few rises so we just need to churn the profit takers out.

I don't think the volume over the last few days can be called 'thin air'. Someone is buying thats for sure. Whether or not that someone knows something we dont remains to be seen. Either way the shorters will be getting nervous. I think it will have to break out over 42p before their automated risk management tools start to kick in and reduce their positions.

The suspension is lifted when the settlement issues are resolved and there is an orderly market. It’s not a fixed period. Could be mid market today or in two weeks. In the meantime the business is doing a great job of putting the legal and financial woes behind us.

I disagree that the current assets are not worth the mcap. We could do deals now that exceed mcap but no point in walking away with £1/share now when it should be £10/share in 12 months

Is the limit for declared shorts still 0.5%? We could be seeing a fair few of the smaller positions closing- those that followed the big PE funds reacting more quickly to the current rise.

Rising oil price is also good for O&G development outlook. Let’s not also forget that we produce 3,400boe/d. Every little helps.

Phase 3 has to be in progress (not completed) for approval. That was stated clearly.

Going by my limited charting skills, if we were to break out of current level then 34p comes fairly quickly. Could be another 10%+ day 🤞
