RE: Sold UKOG when Down24 Jun 2019 17:18
I think what people take issue with is the constant focus and repetition historical issues that have impacted the SP, especially when there is a bit of positivity about the future. Many people have lost money here, some real, some paper. That causes bitterness, which is understandable but that comes through on the posts. People dont want that in their lives, it doesnt serve any purpose. Its just a BB but people take personal comments to heart.
It has cost money to get where we are, and that has diluted the shares. Mistakes have been made but the forward plan is clear to the extent that we cant have daily operational and financial updates. Its good to highlight the risks when everyone is talking it up but should be balanced. Ramping doesnt have to have the same balance because we are all invested here right? That's just the way it is -human nature. When people read ramping comments they know this. We all want the SP to go up, and its natural to highlight the positives BUT misleading and unsubstantiated claims should always we called out so as to not mislead new investors.
There will always be those on the edge of a BB ramping or deramping with an agenda but if we can keep the core of the board informed and balanced (and respectful) that's ultimately got to be good for our mental health if nothing else.
Also - we should of had an update on the rig by now IMO.
