UNCONV There will be no program of drilling until we have proved concept (oil flow) on HRZ. A lot of work has already been done at IW. UNCONV FO should be lots of cash and a few drills with an option to take on a higher % once oil has flowed.

Current conv FO is actually complicated by the sheer number of world class targets in close proximity. Might be an option is taken on the whole acreage..

There’s still an odds on chance that news drops this week. If it doesn’t then next week? So yes it has been pushed back, a lot, but no way it’s going to be more than a couple of weeks now.
It is disappointing, and maybe a little foolish of DW to give a specific deadline IF he couldn’t control it and IF it doesn’t come in BUT a good deal is what we need. This is going to impact the company for the next 20+ years so let’s get it right.

Good for you NST. Should always sell up and move on if you aren't happy with your investment. Sounds like you made some good calls. I just don't understand why people hand around and whinge about how high the share price used to be.

Is the current thinking that APEC are holding up the cash until permitting is agreed? Makes no mention of this in the last update and suggests that there was a renegotiation, in part to cover the costs of the re-permitting.

I think what people take issue with is the constant focus and repetition historical issues that have impacted the SP, especially when there is a bit of positivity about the future. Many people have lost money here, some real, some paper. That causes bitterness, which is understandable but that comes through on the posts. People dont want that in their lives, it doesnt serve any purpose. Its just a BB but people take personal comments to heart.
It has cost money to get where we are, and that has diluted the shares. Mistakes have been made but the forward plan is clear to the extent that we cant have daily operational and financial updates.Its good to highlight the risks when everyone is talking it up but should be balanced. Ramping doesnt have to have the same balance because we are all invested here right? That's just the way it is -human nature.When people read ramping comments they know this. We all want the SP to go up, and its natural to highlight the positives BUT misleading and unsubstantiated claims should always we called out so as to not mislead new investors.
There will always be those on the edge of a BB ramping or deramping with an agenda but if we can keep the core of the board informed and balanced (and respectful) that's ultimately got to be good for our mental health if nothing else.

Also - we should of had an update on the rig by now IMO.

Bit of a guess but - those negotiating on the deal would have been given parameters to work within. Once the deal is agreed based on those parameters it than has to be agreed by the top dogs. 88E top dogs would have been much more active in the negotiations than top dogs a large/tier 1 company. So assumption is 88E team signed off on the terms and negotiators for other party has to take the deal back to employer from 'approval'.

UKOG has submitted an application for permission to create and maintain a new oil drilling site on land south of Dunsfold Road and east of High Loxley Road for three years.

The site will comprise one well, to be called Loxley-1, and one sidetrack well - Loxley-1z.

The application also seeks permission for a new access track, a new road junction with High Loxley Road, highway improvements at the junction of High Loxley Road / Dunsfold Road, and the erection of a boundary fence and entrance gates.

Interesting on the Documents section on the Waverley borough council site there is a letter to the Head of Planning from the Planning technical support team requesting the "Council's formal recommendation within 21 days
of the date of this letter" which was dated 13 June 2019.That takes us to the beginning of August so the 7th August date looks more likely.

Absolutely, these large companies have so much money that its not a case of choosing one or the other, just an assessment of the return on the project. In fact if you already have a team on the ground in Alaska, local offices, money spent on proving up certain plays you would also be looking to see what is nearby that you can pick up and add to the pot at low marginal cost. Activity and success on our doorstep gives confidence and validity to the 88e IMO

I don't think we will receive large amounts of monies upfront as this usually relates to sunk costs to date, but the size of the the prize(s) should give us a good few free carry wells for earn in. As long as we keep 30% or so I'll be happy. We can then trade away another 10% once we have a billion barrels proved up.

Pantheon announces intention to FO. Seems that they know more about their deal before the farm out process begins than we know about ours when it has most likely already been agreed!

, the Company is working with eSeis to prepare its data room to formerly commence the farm-out process in order to achieve its objective of drilling during the Alaskan winter 2019/2020 drilling season. Pantheon will seek a material up-front cash contribution towards sunk cost

from any potential partner as well as 'promoted' drilling terms where the farm-in partner would fund some or all of a specified number of future wells in order to earn their working interest. Pantheon's objective would see one well drilled at the Talitha project and a minimum of one well drilled at Alkaid/Phecda in the 2019/2020 drilling season.
