Looking at the limited info I have on LSE, looks like a few short-termers cashing in on the little surge this morning. This ius going to be fine folks, as long as you are happy to wait a touch. Aimo of course.

I think all this speculation is fun but remember what happened when the results were released last time.

The figures were stunning, the cash in the bank was stunning and the profitability was stunning.

The problem, so many stupid figures had been bandied about that the market was left disappointed because its ludicrous expectations had not been met.

Tone in down in my opinion if you want to see this rocket when more information comes out, and as ShaunP says, patience all :-)

If you are a holder who just wants to try for short-term gains, then perhaps you sell and go now.

Far too many people focus on the effect of UK news on the share. This is a company with a Global customer base and its painfully obvious that a lot of people don't understand that.

Patience is required for this particular share. It's a longer term absolute no-brainer frankly but wtfdik.

Every single dot is massively positive.

Recruitment
Cash in the bank
Profitability
Covid going nowhere
Massive opportunities to exploit the testing market (and reduce covid related sales to a small proportion of revenue)
Acquisition aspirations
Great senior management team (strengthened recently)
Huge investment in R & D
Great reputation (on various boards and committee's
Potential contract extensions
Serious research available to back all of this up

And all we seem to get is whinging from certain people ffs!

The last three holdings RNS's refer to Blackrock Inc. and are 2.95% on 13/1/21, 3.02% on 26/1/21 and 2.99% today.

There has never been any RNS notification of the other funds (who seem to hold much smaller amounts.

Actually there would appear to only be a very small movement in their holding. Peanuts in fact.

Blackrock have absolutely zero interest in Novacyt as a company so I'm personally not that bothered. There are too few shares anyway.

It's just algorithms and computer screens to them.

It does however explain the weird share price movements in the past few days.

Time to slip the drawer shut on and adopt the good old Warren Buffet approach of belief in the fundamentals and a good dose of patience. This will deliver in time imo.

Never mind, it probably got rid of a few more short term quick buck merchants. Remember, only 71m shares! Money in the bank, no debt, great products and pipeline and no chance of testing demand falling of a cliff!
