Happy to see you all having good break after a while. Billy's 134 just flew past. Nice hold overnight. Ken your kitty must be up by 20K today. Daytrade something to smile eh during hibernation.
Hope this stays steady for you guys without major drop. Thursday if some agreement on oil front may see a boost to end the week on a high note. US filling its strategic reserves. Need to store oil in our backyard tanks after that for a good rental.
Re masks here is a possible scandal
https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/revealed-china-stockpiled-2-billion-face-masks-and-25m-medical-items/news-story/5304e5a5080bd4087e4a9be9de210b97
Nice to see you guys are having a well deserved break for your patience. Copper over 2% and oil up lit the fire for Glen. Kaz needs little curl to light up its rocket. Billy good you held overnight. Ken you will see you deficit wipe out by 20k today
Still long way to go. Green shoots for now.
Hope BoJo recovers fast and comes back to take charge and ensure all in NHS, paramedics get proper PPE.
Billy you sold GLen day trade ?? See it hit 130 and your wish came true at closing auction

Good tidy profit.
Oil front no storage anywhere after 15th May.
Was away from phone and stocks since Friday - Therapeutic. Doing things and spending time with family. Good luck billy with your day trade. Have bought similar at 124.7p.
Holding over weekend BGEO, FERG, STC have done well and sold all except part BGEO. CAML no budge, Holding small helping BP at loss.
Re Novacyt Daytrade I feel any price currently above £2 is overpriced. Doing my usual there. Sell on Monday and buy on Thursday. Invested 70% there. Have said this 5 weeks ago here trade NYCT. Sold last monday 210 all holding and bought back at 175p. Sold all today again at 210p. Know it went up further but dont care. After RNS share drops as price is high. Issue is testing labs limited world over and have posted 2 part long analysis on that BB 2 weeks ago about low testing and its affect on SP to help people to see outside of Casino mindset there and unrealistic prices.
Shares outstanding 66M. Earnings £20M so far and slowly rising but not 20 or 30M in one go. Do your math if market cap worth SP. Good UK company and now no debt with money on hand should bode well. Yes French approval today but French not doing even 100000 tests. About £3 per test profit for company after all expenses. Dont talk about NYCT as folks here not interested. That board is cacophony and insults for anyone saying contrary.
Green day today has smiles on your cheeks and tide hopefully turning in spain. Hats off to all the nurses working hard on all the covid wards and lots have harrowing facts of life to say sadly. Hope you not trimming your lawn with comb and hair clippers lads due to boredom :)
Thanks Ken. Makes sense as I searched the net and did not get some logical explanation for copper price support.
My mulitple KAZ buy order got taken at 227p earlier...took a punt. Looks like you lit the blue torch up Kaz and it went up. Sold all for 335.5p when it hit 338 now at lunch chips and chicken curry. They do it well here.
Still holding CAML bought on wednesday at 128p average. Looks like it is wavering.
Other buys small stake at STAN 415p on wednesday down 3%.
BGEO good bit in Green from 830 buy levels.
Had gone to 930 but did not sell part as feel it will hit over 999p.
FERG made a few Bob 2% yesterday when it dropped. No stamp.
BP had picked a few yesterday midday down by 2% now. Buy was on presumption markets would keep oil up on orangeman negotiator tweet.
Good to have cash on hand to trade on big unexpected drops. Can get 2 to 4% on way up recovery.
We are waiting for surge in cases in our part of the woods. May happen around Easter time.
On BBC he mentioned 2 big labs are going to do the tests in their lab. Checked and both have their own covid-19 kit.
One has to remember the labs will charge at least £10 to£20 per test for the manpower and consumables etc. This on top of £5 per test makes it quite costly in other parts of the world which are not well off. So many govts unless it is is their own labs doing the test are not bothered how fast the test can be done as turn around time is 24 to 48 hours for test report worldwide.
Also test kits production numbers is no use. The countries should have enough labs on board to do those tests. Outside of US and Germany the other countries are doing tests in 1000 to 10000 only a day including India, indonesia. Australia etc.
Novacyt needs the antibody test ASAP as most nations are looking for this. That will make the SP move to next level as those tests will help with removing lock down, flying etc.
Ken please explain to us mere mortals why copper is holding and doing reasonably well in a market where construction outside of pockets of lying China has come to a standstill
Craig that is Provided we change our habits worldwide for cheap goods and dont care where it came from or which sweatshop it was made in.
We collectively decimated our good old corner shop by preferring supermarket in the village and online orders.
We prefer amazon shopping when they pay zilch taxes into our economy after huge profits because they are cheap and more convenient than dragging our ar*e upto the good old brick and mortar shop.
It appears as if China is winning the World war III without firing a single missile.
For the first time since WWII, the Europeans feel invaded, and for the first time in nearly two centuries, the United States is struggling to defeat an invading army on its soil.
US is doing testing 10 times of any country and hence the overall number will become highest forever. They are aiming to 250000 tests per day thanks to their huge lab networks and by end April numbers will be in millions probably because they will be reporting asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic cases also which China hid from only greedy economic point of view and encouraging rest of world to keep flying into China.
Interactive Investor, use option super investor. You pay £20 per month and get £7 trading credit rolled to 3 months. Good if you are doing frequent trade.
Re Melrose Fira looking at the way it behaved after dividend cut and trading update feel can pick it up at 50p if patient
DOW closing at high for the day when orangeman tweeted means FTSE will open green tommorow.
He was in house quarantine at that stage and doing temp check etc and uploading in his alibaba. My guess Billy the guys phone with the gurl was not linked or updated as he asks her that question as to why her status was green despite his quarantine influence.
Anyhu here is another long great article in TIME MAGAZINE which touches on this alibaba app also.

TITLE - Life in China Has Not Returned to Normal, Despite What the Government Says
What I meant was over the 3 million already reported last week.
Update this morning in one article in CNBC
Many economists expect the claims to be about 4 million to 5 million when data on unemployment benefits is released Thursday at 8:30 a.m. ET. Friday’s March jobs report would normally be given more weight by the market, but the government conducted its survey for the data in the middle of the month, too soon for the biggest impact from the coronavirus shutdowns.
If unemployment numbers in US adding another 200 to 300K does not put a dent we can see a 4 to 5% rise. Had picked more CAML at 128p last evening.
If you have not seen this 7 minute video of chinese state surveillance it is another eye opener. How china keeps tab on every citizen and they can say who is scr*wing who and when you took a dump
Agree a great tool in rare pandemics like this and we have zillion cameras in London. Video put together by a British guy living in Wuhan.
You can watch till markets open. :)
Looks like copper turning green.

Since trading day is over I am sure people will forgive me if I post link to some great light reading.
Can we forgive China?
If any other country had sparked such a mammoth international crisis, it would now be in the global doghouse
Brahma Chellaney | 27 Mar, 2020
Quite damning indictment of China.
Well researched and written - we didnt realise that first cases were reported by Thailand and then China said that they had COVID 19.
Also that WHO (sic Wuhan Health organisation) condemned the closing of travel to china at behest of Xi. They locked half a billion and kept asking all countries to keep flying in.
Now they complain of imported covid cases and charge $1500 for 14 days quarantine for all entering china . What double standards.
Anyhu good article.
Divi suspension was a given for most companies with current situation esp miners or Bankers. But drops today are significant though for these 2 sectors. Institutions will not dump the shares at this low as they expect divi to return in future. Retail letting go of these stocks. Picked a few of STAN. Let us see
Had put 2 buys for CAML seeing unusual drop this AM for 130p. Got one bid Ken
Quantity 19,408.00
Limit Price £1.30
Price £1.287828
Look at the frickin decimal places . Jees that is some algorithm ;)
Was happy to note no stamp duty.
Picked another of my long time strong banking favourite
BGEO at 831p after noting big unwarranted drop. That also moves up like KAZ real fast when market moves north.
News just out now. Bank shares will be under pressure for a day. Good time to pick with drop in market at open tommorow perhaps.
For years when I got angry or at work colleagues started getting worked up blowing top I used to say to myself or tell others "relax....Breath easy" and so came this handle years ago. Never realised the words would have a significance in today's world.
