The first acquisition has already taken place from the 2019 road map. It occurred earlier than expected in Dec 2018.

Schroders have recently bought 1% of the share capital and the share price has gone down!

I have held stock for 10+ years so please don't start the "are you short crap?"

This is a listed company so it needs to be traded on the market. If there is no stock to be traded because institutions own all the shares then there will be no liquidity. When there is no liquidity the MMs tactics are to employ are very wide spread further putting off buying. We do not need more II IMO!

75% of the shares are held by PL and institutions!!!

How do you expect more institutions to come on board and not create a liquidity problem?

The problems are not to do with a lack of institutional support. The problem is the $30m debt and that the majority of PPCs assets are based in a basket case country (Argentina).

I found this which indicates the expiry date of the two above licenses is several years away:-

Do we think the next acquisition could be the La Yasera and/ or the Loma Negra licenses? Loma Negra is the mirror formation to Puesto Flores. Loma Negra is/ was a Chevron asset too with first discovery made in 1997. Maybe a similar story to Puesto Flores and Chevron not looking to extend the license? Also worth noting the International Finance Corporation (IFC) are/ were a share holder in this asset back in 2000.

Joining the above dots it seems strange that PPC keep showing these on the map in the presentations. There is no smoke without fire...

Sorry, that is 6000 BOEPD without any further acquisitions.

The target with one further acquisition is ~7500 BOEPD by end of 2019.

The Aug 2018 presentation shows the target production at the end of 2019 as 6000 BOEPD.

The EV gas that is due to come online will take us to 4000 BOEPD expected in March 2019.

I think they should concentrate on what they have. The previous acquisitions have not translated through to an increase in the share price so why will the next one. The market does not like the focus on Argentina and also the accumulation of debt (now at $30m). I say stick to the plan with a target exit rate of production for 2019 of 6000 BOEPD. If they get there something will have to give as a £90m market cap. will be ridiculous.

Negatives
- The Group's overall net 2P reserves in Argentina show a decrease to 24.9MMboe (y/e 2017 26.5MMboe).
- Debt position now at $30m.

According to the Bloomberg website Michinoko sold their share in December 2018.

There are some rumors that Michinoko have reduced there position from 8.9% to ~7%.

Apparently this is shown on the Bloomberg page but only available to subscribers.

Not sure why they would not RNS this. If this is true then hopefully Shroders will continue to pick up the slack.

That post was a 'copy and paste' from one I made on ADVFN.

My last point was in general to all BBs where PPC is concerned. I feel like the research and discussion related to PPC is generally average to poor when compared to some other companies. Its helps to have a solid BB to attract newbie investors.

I guess there are lots of reasons why the share price is stagnant but this is the case with most AIM O & G companies:-

- Historically PPC has failed to make any organic growth (share price).
- 10+ placings in <10 years.
- $150m invested in Paraguay for no return.
- PPCs asset base is focused on Argentina (weak economy).
- PPC has debt (~$20m).
- WTI has been very weak during Nov/ Dec 2018.
- The PPC chart is not attractive showing no upward trend.
- This BB is quite poor with minimal research/ contributions (LSE/ iii also poor).

Maybe all of the above are what is required to make the biggest gains on AIM. You have to buy a share when it is the most unloved to get the 10 baggers.

I guess you have to factor in the PPC has just taken on $8m extra debt and also the oil market is weak at present. Maybe staying flat in this market is not something to complain about. Things are moving ahead fast. Cannot resist from sharing this link with you any longer (Apologies Rizzz):-
