This is transformational for TXP but of course we need flow rates to gauge how good it is. If this well alone flows for 18 months at around 7 - 8 MMCFD then it will almost pay for the whole 4 well programme at Ortoire.

PPC were not aiming for 150% production increases in 2019 and 2020. They were targeting a 50% increase (eg. 3300 BOEPD to 4900 BOEPD in 2019). 7500 BOEPD was the target for end of year 2020. I expect that has now changed will the postponing of Argentina drilling activity by around 6 months.

Silly comments like calling for £3 is part of the problem with PPC investors!

So with the current 1.2 billion shares in issue you think PPC warrant a market cap. of £3.6 billion? How do you possibly arrive at that figure?

The only way back to 10p is to get Paraguay moving and get the focus off Argentina.

Clearly today was an attempt to support the low share price but also more jam tomorrow. Production has decreased from 3300 BOEPD to 2200 BOEPD (probably lower) over the course of H1 2019.

Jan 2019 - 3300 BOEPD (peak rate)
Q1 2019 - 2800 BOEPD (Average)
H1 2019 - 2500 BOEPD (Average)
Q2 2019 - 2200 BOEPD (Average)

Highly likely that production is below 2000 BOEPD as we are half way though Q3 and workovers are ongoing and sub-surface engineering equipment is still pending/ in-progress. I would say we should be grateful for the rise today on the back of that RNS. Maybe the potential 1100 BOEPD to come on-line was enough to keep the market happy. On the face of it 2019 EBITDA should be a bit higher than 2018 but only marginally.

The company started the workover programme at the end of March and we have heard nothing positive about those 10 wells that were targetted for mid summer.

PPC got a kicking because it did not let the market know there were issues in Q1 with production down from 3300 (peak) BOEPD to 2800 BOEPD (average).

If production had of gone the opposite way and increased by 500 BOEPD I am sure they would have released an RNS. This is not acceptable and the good, bad and ugly should be communicated to the market to build trust. They also conducted a placing in this period where there was no mention of reduced production but instead claimed the placing was to improve liquidity!

I was not referring to your comment about the gold price. AAZ are not so sensitive to the fluctuations in gold as the AISC are so low. 80% of gold miners out there will go out of business before AAZ in a low gold price environment.

In 2 weeks I think we will get a divi increase (~$0.04) and that will put the cat among the pigeons.

More sells than buys today but the price has held up.

The last 5 trading days have brought more volume than Dec - April combined.

I think the seller that has been lingering since 12p has now gone. The MMs have already made some nice gains on that stock. The share price was depressed artificially low due to the seller so now there is plently of head room to get back into double figures on current fundamentals. Any additional news such as increased production or farm outs will set this off now.

AAZ discovered, developed and commenced full production at Ugur in less than 12 months. I think Gadir was similar too. AAZ move fast and what you say is not true.
