HTS if you watched Poole Pirates v Somerset Rebels in the speedway semi finals you will have seen a team that was down and out with the home crowd stunned into silence after 6 races.

Ever the optimist, I bought in here when it was tipped to be £23 per share and the price rose to £7 before the first launch. After a perfect launch the mystery started and my expected £9 turned into an incredible £3.50 .... the start of an incessant drop in price with a few plateaus along the way.

IT has been pushing the cost of our debt forever, monotony personified, as if this is news! After all is said and done the price reflects that concern.

But I still believe the mission was sensible from the start and can still be successful.
DW did not have a clue but since his departure the company looks much more professionally organised.

Whether we can clear the debt I don't really know but in the meantime I await the gold rush once the demand because a frenzy.

I lost money years ago by self-teaching myself Borland Delphi which cost more than I could afford.
It was clearly going to be in demand in the contract programming business and being ready made sense. I waited for the adverts but only found new releases of the programing language at ever increasing prices kept coming so I gave up. I guess it became a healthy market eventually.

I last bought AVN at £2.20 but I have not given up hope yet. And, tbh, selling at current prices might on be enough to buy the latest Delphi release if it is still going.

GCCRa's motive is probably mutual with most of us on his board. There must be more supporters than trolls because all the trolls post or what is there purpose? Most supporters are happy with a watching brief and if they sell they probably just move to their new share's site.
The supporters realise that our potential market is vast but it needs something to wake up that market.

I can remember vape shops opening and closing within weeks because the nicotine addicts never latched on to them. And then, like sheep , they changed their minds en masse and now it is a massive industry.

For broadband it has taken forever which might mean that Africans are not as sheep-like as us Europeans.
That is great apart from shareholders like me who still believe in the business.

If the market does wake one of these days the demand will be for many more satellites and the short supply could just be our saviour. In the ensuing rat race Avanti should be in a strong position to produce them quickly.

In different words it seems clear that we asked a question which was answered.
Sekaname were clearly entitled to hear that answer and decide if it made a difference to them.
The Govt allowed them a month to digest the content and respond , if needed.

The statements made by our board are perfectly consistent with this view.

As a first generation programmer I am used to getting multiple tasks to run in a 64k processor and modems with a baud rate of 60!
I only get 18Mb over my fibre line because I live in the sticks but that is plenty fast enough for regular business software, as was slower speeds on standard broadband.

Latency might screw film watchers and game players but it should not bother sensible users.

Producing ultra fast lines so people can play stupid shoot em up games online is sacrilege.

We cannot see things are visible for less than a tenth of a second - projectionists used to mark 4 frames of film that ran at 32 frames per second to see the mark for an eighth!
And that is not far off the latency mentioned on here.

There have been villagers who have dug their own fibre ducts recently - Avanti would have apealed to them you'd think. Anybody know how much of GB a steerable beam would cover?
My thinking was it might be quite a wide area for a small country.

I always thought there was a good chance of selling broadband to remote areas in the UK, tows , villages and industrial estates with businesses willing to pay premium prices. But Africa and the Middle East did offer huge numbers of potential customers and long term seemed reasonable. I did wonder how many had electricity down there and when I saw those figures for Kenya it was alarming.

So now we are supplying the USA which I never saw on the radar.

I'm disappointed that yesterday's sp rise has not continued today but it is par for this particular course.

Quite amazing RNS really. Ideally we would be producer and retailer of Poly4 so there is no middle man.
We have enough on our plate getting to production so the retailing has been a non-starter.
Except we now have a ready made retailer on board and we don't have to do anything but produce?
The Cibra market is a huge area and they appear to be ambitious enough to take advantage.

What next? A deal with a South American farming giant? And a farm shop :O)

Myo just seeing the tops does not sound too bad ith a 360 degree view - my worry was that the mine would take the eye like oil rigs/wind turbines at sea an on or just over the horizon! I know we will be planting loads of trees .... are some planned for that side of the site?

Yet another master stroke from our directors in getting the local school kids to name Bessy, and have the winners at the site to meet 'her'.

The closing shot surprised me .... there was an uninterrupted view to the not too distant horizon and the sea beyond. It made it look like the reverse view of the mine site would be fairly easy .... I thought we were only visible from the very local roads ... perhaps the camera was quite high? Most of the plant will be gone eventually but it partly explains the 7 votes against for me.

We are responding to the demand from several countries it is not a matter of who will buy the power but who do we want to sell it to.
Prices are expected to rise so the later we forge agreements the more profitable it might be.

This project puts the cart before the horse and Tony Gilby was very diligent in finding this project as the best place in the world for his next venture. I'm here because there looks to be an ever increasing demand for power and have absolutely no doubts we will have several markets competing for our power when we are ready - competition won't harm the price will it? Your offtakes would have me complaining that our board did they not see the potential for higher prices .... they win my vote of confidence!
