I suspect those of us who could almost measure our investments here in decades are not the ones complaining?
Partly explained because even at 10p many of us would still be in profit.
I guess the moaners are relative newbies who came in at prices higher than 20p expecting a quick buck ?

CF has been in here longer than any of us of course, we all expected to be up and running a while ago back in the early days. I am getting tired of those at the back of the queue moaning about having to wait more than 10 minutes whilst the ones at the front have been there for 3 hours! But Lidl is quite cheap :O)

Have paired my mobile phone finally. Citroen manuals may as well be written in French (suppose they are) because they are ordures. I have BT internet and the manual says turn on Bluetooth on you phone and look for the name Citroen in the possible matches. All I could find was BT Radio!
Would you believe this is not BT but BT! i.e. not British Telecom but Blue Tooth , and not radio but PHONE!
Not sure if this Citroen's doing or not but having cleared all the cars pairings and restarted from fresh I am paired up.
Now I have to see how to use it from a manual that is ordures because Haynes have not produced one yet for the Multispace. Just selecting the radio from about 4 stalks is hit and miss if it is not the default. Just finding the right stalk is more difficult than using the Golf's radio manually :O)

Looked up Holts Tyreweld because my WAV (wheelchair accessile vehicle) has no spare wheel though it has a jack.
Very handy if you can think what use it is?

Tyreweld is washable so after using it the tyre might still be repairable after a scrub and wipe.

It did Scotty, but now I have the mobiity scooter it acted like a bullet and I caught up with it again.
Poppy is fitter than she has ever been, 8mph scooter means faster and longer runs.
She is eating faster too, she is 8 in June, and I read old dogs should be given less food.
I am inclined to increase the quantity because Liz used to give her sly treats throughout the day and they have reduced for sure. Perhaps I'll weigh her?
If you don't hear from me again, I'll have fallen off the bathroom scales with Poppy in my arms and cracked my head on the sink :O)

Compounding of interest

What is the formula for compound interest?

Compound Interest Formula:

V = P(1+r/n)(nt)

The generic formula used in this compound interest calculator is V = P(1+r/n)(nt)

V = the future value of the investment
P = the principal investment amount
r = the annual interest rate
n = the number of times that interest is compounded per year
t = the number of years the money is invested for

Just picked this up - of course rate/365 is the daily interest, and /12 is the monthly rate.
You don't compound interest rates , you compound the capital, the rate is constant.

You cannot take a monthly rate and use it to calculate 365 days because 12x28, 29, 30 or 31 is not 365 of course.
That is why we have 360s accounts! i.e. 12 x 30 days irrespective of the actual days in the months involved.
But the rates offered compensate for any anomaly.

Silly exercise using 2.04 rises every day and I see I forgot the % when dividing by 365 so 100 times too big!
1+2.04/365 is 1.005589041 but 1+2.04%/365 is 1.00005589041 - correct value should have been £1014.18

Incidentally if the sp dived by 2.04% daily your grand would be worth £5.55 :O)

Formula is £1000 * 1.005589041 to the power of number of days.

The beta version is being tested before going live in the future, if it is measures up.
It is expected to have bugs and there is one that I found.
If I want to see a filtered message and logout, beta version will not work until I log back in again!
This is on a laptop, I wonder if it manifests differently on your mobile?
