596k is quite a steal at that price - 7.8c to 5.5c is madness - I hope my joke about 2c was not taken seriously. It was clearly lead by a limit bid of 5.5c which someone , surely there aren't 2 people who'd give such a discount?
The only thing that makes sense is the seller was thinking it was pence on AIM - an easy mistake to make on an international platform. My account has not dropped below IG's threshold of 15k for potential charges. I'll have to check the implications of that. Boo!
Sugar, I did not word that accurately! I looked to have lost that amount and IG still show ASX/TLOU holding as £ - 7,544.67 because the closing price has not been announced or updated. So they are using the spread of 5.5c to 8c to arrive at -7k.
The final trade of the day determines the price , hence 7.8c , the spread is pure wishful thinking by prats or illegitimates.
I was more than a bit concerned Whizz - I lost 5k overnight because of that poxy 5.5c! I went to great lengths to demonstrate how I could determine the sp at 9.4c, and it stuck for a fortnight!
To get the trades you can use this link. https://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=trades&symbol=ASX%3ATOU If you dont have a login then you can register without all the bumf that LSE required for proof of identity. They'll just email you for confirmation.
It feels like a conspiracy? Two buys at 7.8c , no sells , but the sp is showing at 6.8c!
KI think there is a lot of daft investors in this stock. I think I might remortgage the house and offer 2p a share - some fools will honour it! You can take an ass to water ..... evaporation pond?
Not what I have, under the mattress security, but it looks to avoid share issues unless we go bust where the loan provider steps in ahead of us? Dilution of the assets by another means?
Tbh I think marketing water will be a diminishing return once the gas is flowing. Capex on filtering equipment etc is better spent is other areas (Mamba , Boomslang and Lesedi #5 and children).
We could bottle it and sell it as Botswana vintage wine with the description that it has hint of coal dust in the taste BUT is a FINE WINE. If we charge enough per bottle nobody is going to try it over keeping it as an investment?
olda don't they use evaporation tanks? In Botswana it won't be long before the water does just that.
I think it is being pumped down the vertical part of the lateral wells - lateral thinking in action :O) For those without a soh - I'm joking - but it could explain everything for the cynics.
If TLOU published the highest and lowest flow rates imho 75% of this board would concentrate on the low , and 25% on the high? I doubt they want to pour petrol on a quiet chatroom that will argue about figures based upon biased opinions.
The jury is out but imho the evidence suggests this will come good. But the sentiment is all over the place.
TLOU / AIM 11 sells totalling 510k and 3 buys totalling 51k all manual trades. TOU/ASX two tiny buys and no sells. HL. had 12,650 trades today , mainly A trades - brokers must love that stock!
Perhaps it is the remainers and mainland Europeans getting their money out while we are still in the union :O) , maybe they fear Boris will confiscate all their shares and give them to the NHS or H2.
Agree not bad news - you cannot take it with you so a bit of pocket money for Mr H - today was the day I expected a big move and I certainly got one, even it is in the opposite direction.
I reckon there are a lot of unhappy stop-loss investments out there - I hope they get back in before their stop-loss reappears in the opposite direction.
RE: Was just going to buy some cheap shares in the £17.70's31 Jan 2020 10:54
My blooming broker took 2 hours to make my deposit available and the price dropped from 17.99 to 17.37 in that time, before I got in at 17.55 ..... 17.30's must have shaken up a few shares?

Director sell RNS is not too encouraging. Did he think 18.70 ish was the ceiling? He probably knew those A trades would do what they have done - is he allowed to buy back straight away?
Nice take NE. LSE have a Quick picks section and I haveb't been able to extend my list of 2 stocks. Ended up deleting them! IT IS SO SIMPLE TO ADD ONE (MAX 25) , I finally spotted the RED PIN (10mm to the right!) after deleting them -the green pin is not so obvious.
Got my stickers on the k/b and they are the best £2.96 I've ever spent. No reflection off the screen and actually visible. The ctrl button sticker is too big but not a problem - it stands out without a sticker and is positioned bottom left.
"Fund supermarket Hargreaves Lansdown raised its dividend after strong interim results. " Up 9% on last year, ex-div Valentines day, payable in March. Now the fun starts!
Back to TLOU, I wonder if Tony was trying to say 'they have given a response'? If so the talk of other options might be bluff to concentrate the BG's minds. But more likely, he is looking after our interests by getting the best possible deal. Colm was funny when he referred to the wheeling/dealing in his podcast before TG/GG release. He seemed so relaxed, very comforting.
Going to be an interesting couple of months - starting today with 2 fillings at the dentist, who did not take me off the NHS list despite me not going for a couple of years. Bless her!
