Mitch, you have every reason to complain imho.

I have X-O and IG accounts on laptop (I don't use any sites on my mobile phone that need a password for fear of hacking) . BOTH work in similar fashion , you enter your would be trade safe in the knowledge it won't be actioned. Your only action is a PREVIEW button. Hitt that and they give you confirmation of what you requested, stamp duty, commission , approximate number number of shares, price if not a limit bid etc , plus a"Countdown" clock to accept the trade. 15 seconds on both I think.
I often do dummy trades to check the price and can put in any old number. I'd be too petrified risk an instant trade button!
Amazon or Ebay have that facility I think but you have to accept it the trade before the shortcut is actioned even then.

It could be temporary until the mine is making money.
The area could be more properous if the locals haven't already 'realised' their losses, plus some would get a job , and many others an uplift in fringe businesses. Maybe AAL will do the latter if they succeed -a big IF if they stick to the original Sirius plan.

Thanks for asking AE - I now know why I couldn't find GG saying what Colm said in that link, i.e. the advisors were in place.
Months later they are still not in place - the apology from the govt was well overdue but good on them for being honest. Hope you agree that the major complaint , our directors are too optimistic , is not due to foul play because claims are made in good faith with the beliefs at the time.

The advisors haphazard news follows the RFP process which meant both preferred bidders were ineligible because they were not currently providing CBM powered electricity - a throw-back to coal fired days imho. That delayed the preferred bidders announcement by at least a year!

We are close to reinventing the wheel on several fronts - 2020 looks to be a year to celebrate.

Botswana was wrong! The African countries were S.A, Lestho, Swaziland and Mozambique.
Aus and NZ , but not Papua from Australasia.

It is still pending 20 minutes later!

In the meantime I funded my ISA on X-O and requested best price on exchange (no quote market there) and it offered 3.34 which I took.

IG still haven't got me 3.46 yet ..... are they crooks trying to get me to pay 3.5p for 3.34p shares?
I remarked before how good X-O at delivering lower prices than expected.

I thank them for NOT taking 3.46p because the quote was down to 3.34p

Quickly cancelled 3.46 (instant - so excellent on that too) and upped my quote by several hundred shares @ new quote and bingo at frequent trader fee of £3, beating X-O which is a fixed £5.95. What a difference a day , hour or minutes make!

I was extremely happy after Eric's PROMISE , but then he was moved and Mr Moagi came in which meant the Turkish delight was gone - Eastern promise may have gone west!

Further proof TG knows what he is doing? He chose Botswana partly because he liked their reputation as the most stable in Africa, and maybe further afield.

I think think this is genius, we have encouraged the lawyers to start work on a PPA for a small amount of power, and by the time it gets near to a conclusion we'll only have to change the preliminary figures to the actual figures fot the full PPA.

I think your reactions are all off the mark.

We were told by GG that , instead of wasting all our gas in a flare, we had applied for a reduced PPA for generation and trading of power useing that gas, a la Selemo (in my words).

Cretins everywhere has asked what TLOU are doing, and now you have your answer .... everything possible!!!

The reason they have haven't had any news is now abundantly clear - those advisors HAVE NOT been appointed yet!

Reading between the lines, it suggests TLOU had the meeting mentioned and pointed out that they are getting flack (rip, a tragedy) from investors and imposters claiming to be investors - and this is just an apology from BG to all of us, directors and investors and potential investors.

It is also the result of the meeting, a common courtesy , GG's no brainer you will recall?

Further proof this CEO can be depended upon? And an inclination of what GG can achieve?
