My new AIM shares are still in limbo on X-O and IG .... all valued at zero and kept separate from my live holdings.
It makes my portfolio value look very bad instead of bad, but time will tell a different story.

Going back to those options, once they are tradeable, if we do give TLOU 8c or 4.4p for them, I wonder if they'll be reflected in the sp? If the timing is right, last trade of the day on ASX , lord knows what AIM will do with the mid point of the spread , it might stop people selling below 4.4p and 8c.

I don't think so because they are not in my portfolio yet - so TLOU need to issue something to give us the means of taking the offer for starters.

Then then have to clear the final sites for the poles , and requisition the labour, poles and wires , not to mention re-open #4 fully and decide what to do with #3 and #5 and #? for further expansion of Lesedi.

And you expect a week afte the placement to have been long enough to apply for the funding and get it approved?
Gee, they are not even allowed to fly into Botswana far less achieve all you expect of them!

Too cryptic for me! Just started doing the Guardian Cryptics and need to switch on to their compiler's thinking!

Well done Swinger - I doubted you'd get double your entitlement - wish I'd taken the plunge too now.
I have only been involved in over-subscribed placings until now .... I know brokers use different rules in allocating excess shares in that case. So I was scared of applying for a small or a large number because both have been subject to 'ditching' to get the numbers down.

My brokers have shown my full application was granted on all 4 of my holdings.

I wonder how many the pension fund bought? If any?

The word "excess" is used sparingly in the RNS.

Regarding us, I only see mention of entitlement and the 1 for 2 2 yr offer.

Looks like good news whether excess is included in the offer or not!
If it is then we'll all get our full request.
If not, surely we'll be oversubscribed, and the company will have all it wanted from this.

Just over 500m shares in circulation 11% dilution over 450M at this time is not too bad.
I'm expecting 100% dilution for many companies, especially if there is a second wave of covid in the winter as suggested by certain bodies.

Am I right in thinking they have different policies in determining the closing price?
You might remember, MM and I , discussed the average of bid of offer (2.2 and 2.5p giving 2.35p when the only trades were nowhere near 2.35p?
Last night ASX closed with a spread of 4c to 4.5c , there was near 108k buys and a sell of 6k (@4c) the final trade of the day!
The buys ranged between 4.2c and 4.4c with 23k unknown as the mid price @ 4.35c , almost certainly a buy imho!

The closing price on ASX was 4c - compatible with my belief that the sp is the value of the final trade!
But MM is right LSE use the mid point of two meaningless values, that optimists invent as bid and offer! Neither being exercised all day as often as not!

No noises last night and my watch has lost 26 seconds in 21 hrs which is not too bad, is it?
I bought it on online and it was never accurate from the start. Took it to my local jeweller to have it adjusted!
The beech said they'd only adjusted watches if you paid for a full service, cleaning etc!
Said it was a brand new present, and she said to take it back to where it was bought from!

Had an update from Jarvis in the middle of the night whilst I was awake because Poppy got out of her bed and banged the radiator in so doing. The radiator continued gurgling and banging before the noise moved into the roof! Lord knows whether it was a seagull outside, or a mouse inside, or a squirrel or other nuisance?
I thought the central heating must have come on but the radiators were cold and the controller should be set to off at 3:30am.

The clicking at start and finish are mechanical on off button presses. Snoring, unintelligible voice that does not sound like me, and the scratching in the roof! That is similar to the noise that the mouse I caught a while back was making.
The ceiling must magnify noise - that mouse was tiny! I'm wondering if people's ceiling could be wired into a music system?

Seems as though anyone who wants to download/save must be logged in to a One-drive account (if they have one).
Sharepoint looks to be the answer but LSE (our common nucleus) shouldn't allow us to share with them unless our chatroom incorporates Sharepoint - not going to follow up that direction.

They (MS) charge for sharepoint so Google insists on converting Macro enabled sheets to Google sheets and both need you to be logged in - security issue and probably best for the user in both cases. I give up - please use the workbook if you have onedrive and it is any good to you.

Advice - if , like mine ,your watch is wildly out (several minutes a day) I initially clicked every 10 seconds to monitor whether I'd moved the regulation lever too far the other way. My watch fluctuated fast/slow so it needs quite a few readings to be sure of the trend.
An online app said to come back in 12 hours! And another one produced a ticker tape of actual and accurate ticks. You had to manually align the tick marks to find if the watch is fast or slow (I think, I gave up trying to make sense of it within a few minutes).

So pleased to see why I hated pdf files so much! Firefox gives itself control secretly i.e. pdf is omitted from the options, you have to enter it manually to see Firefox is selected!

Now I can hop around the booklet I can see the wood for the trees.
Some of the wording obscures what a New option is - it seems to suggest they are not ordinary shares?
I think it means that there are not until end of 2 years . Or (those options, paid for and taken earlier?)
i.e. when they are admitted to the full issue count.

This paragraph gives a layman's explanation ... so we are being treated like directors :O)

What are share options and stock options?

Firstly share options and stock options mean the same thing. Share options are more likely to be used in the UK, and stock options are more common in the US.

Share options are a way of saying to staff, “When the company gets bigger, in a few years time, you can have the option of buying some shares at a price we agree now. That price will usually be cheaper than if you buy the shares at the time.”

It’s a bit like saying that you can buy a loaf of bread in Waitrose in 5 years’ time at what it costs today. Given that the bread, and the shares, is likely to be more expensive in 5 years’ time, this can be a bargain for staff in the future.

I have wittered on about how 8c on new options could be subject to fx fluctuations and nobody had the gump to say that the fx rate is stated in the booklet!

It is an horrendous booklet to search e.g. I am trying to find (in 60 pages of pdf) whether New Options are going to offered as Excess shares, and when, and to whom , IF not taken up by the target.

I also saw how Chukkers thought the shares were FREE!

I also found confirmation that the brokers are rewarded by TLOU. 2% is generous when my commission is only £3 usually.

FRA - Frankfurt not France SP rises of 6.25% and 7.5% looked good until you evaluate the Euro price in pence!
Cannot find either market on IG or I might have added EUR to my list of currencies.

The spread is enormous on FRA but someone got a crazy price on March 26th it seems? Less than 1p by a good bit, but it doesn't say how many shares.

As of last trade, Tlou Energy Ltd (55L:FRA) traded at 0.0172, 178.32% above the 52 week low of 0.0062 set on Mar 26, 2020.
