Quite so HB, thanks, TLOU used the UK and LSE instead of his mates on ASX as he was accused of doing in a few quarters. Given the current sp is less than the 3.5p preferential price, (from 4.7p I think), just as well it wasn't his mates?

Did we ever work out who bought those £2.6M? I expected an RNS or two on changed holdings but they did not happen, apart from my prediction , Stephen Hemsley.

HB, it worked for me on ADVFN too, and I have had him filtered for quite a while here.
Trouble is there are so few posters here that checking for news here usually results in green filters and not much else.
It must be obvious that my mind is too active to ignore the only post in 24 hours so I log out and see if it is he or Whizzer and I get dragged in! Ignoring green posts is easy if there are other posts to read.

I don't how posters on here can tell who is worth believing here. I wouldn't mind betting that BTS would win a poll. Why? Because he has been open about his experience with TLOU. Imho that is what chat rooms should do, build or destroy the poster's credibility, so when we have a party to celebrate the price reaching £x we'll have something to talk about other than £x!

I started in a Cherries chat room years ago, and there was a familiar character-type , who was a know-it-all squaddie!

ADVFN is so good comparatively , easy typing, and they provide an edit facility after the post is sent. The unvelievable part of this page is that you haven't twigged that you describe TG's history that everyone else knows!

He IS NOT A GAS MAN , his career was in PETROLEUM with well known international companies , but primarily Esso/Exxon but as a Geologist he clearly knew and understood the possiblities of GAS.

And, one of the reasons I admire him, he foresaw the demise of the PETROLEUM industry 25 years ago, and took his opportunity in cleaner energy with two successes Arrow and Sunshine in Australia!

From there, he saw limited value and lots of pred tape in Australia and moved to Botswana, which I have never doubted will be a hat-trick of successes in GAS!

Guess what, his brain is still working, and he realises GAS is not a renewable energy and he sees the possibilities for HYDROGEN!

If you knew me, you'd know I am extremely cynical, but TG is so obviously a very special talent and I am so pleased I stumbled on him and TLOU.

I also thought Chris Fraser had it right at Whitby initially, but as his project grew from minining and lorries, to mining and a massive underground conveyor , and then a port and then plans for fleet I was severely in doubt , andshould have got out!

But I thought the project was so advanced, that it was beyond the point of no return. Finance was a problem, but that was CF's domain! It turned out he was a ouble crossing heathen , just like David Wcilliams at Avanti , anotherr fonancier!

TG is the totl opposite, saving cents so the dollars look after themselves, and he is proven imho as an engineer. But you think he is an A-hole?

Hydrogen powered cars could well be the future, so create solar farms producing Hydrogen for local service station across Africa or anywhere else in the tropics with land and a population.

Liquifying it was my original idea but that may not be on in a super hot climate.

I do need to thank you however! My neighbour told me my doorbell isn't working when she called in during the week.
I checked there was 240v going into the transformer and it seemed to be , and using a 9v battery the chimes rand so I bought a new transformer which came today. Chimes still not working.

What I found was the LIVE to EARTH is 240V , but nothing registers from LIVE to neutral.
I couldn't trace where the neutral was connected - too dark and my torch is flat. Annoying because it was only inches to the terminal , whichever one it was sharing! I decided to cut it and reconnect it to the corresponding neutral connection to the trip switch which only had the bell on it!

I was too scared to cut wires with metal pliers so I turned off all the mains! Of course my Mac was zapped and I lost my online football, never to return! I hope you're getting bored by now, but you love yourself somuch, you'll still be reading.

Turned the power back on and now I'm feeding 240v into the transformer and then the chair tipped over and I was lucky not to be hurt. Bell still ain't working but I cannot face climbing on the chair again to test the outputs!

You describe Hans situation - the efficiency matters not a jot, except perhaps the cost of buying extra panels.

10Mw of solar energy earns TLOU 10 times what 1Mw of hydrogen power will, so sell the solar!

And my point was that Sweden have to store enormous amounts of energy for long winters, but Botswana do not. And if Hydrogen can be produced wouldwe not generate electricity from it immediately.

If we produce enough CBM power to satisfy the grid (whichever grid that is) then the solar is surplus to requirement - and, from there, Hans method perfect sense - inefficiency yes, but money making yes instead of wasting power.
They could of course turn down CBM power - saving gas or IT could be used to produce the Hydrogen instead of solar! In practice I suppose they are one entity - simply electricity merged from each source into one.

But if they are isolated before reaching the on-site substation (100% certain at the sources) , in the early years, should the gas flows remain erratic what a solution that is?
Generate and store hydrogen while demand for power is low and when peaks arise, use the hydrogen power to bolster those erratic CBM flow power.
Once we have enough wells the Tx lines will be the limiting factor but the same idea is valid.

And we can sell bottles of Hydrogen if there is a market for it.

Hans was forced into finding a supplementary source of power because of the extremely long and short seasonal days.
Hans has opted for Hydrogen and battery storage which are invaluable when required and redundant for the rest of the time. Btw, I would not want to be a fireman if he has a basement fire.

Botswanan have lengthy days and nights on each and every day , so don't need to store alternative power sources for such long periods. The average Botswanan may not have the means (or the need) for solar panels that the average Swede has.

Surprisingly, Sweden still has a low take up on solar but government incentives are improving, e.g. nearly all new condos cpme with built in solar. In the summer the price of electricity could be so low once solar is in full swing. And in winter the price could rocket forcing people to follow Hans lead on batteries or hydrogen I guess?

I imagine prices are steady in Africa throughout the seasons, as they are in the UK.

MM's tweet might show dewatering is coming on very well - if so it will be all hands on deck for CBM and Thornback will have what he wants - as will everyone on here - chance will be a fine thing!

Conservation of energy suggests that using Solar power to produce Hydrogen and Oxygen to produce electrical power must be inefficient? Delivering solar to Serowe would therefore be more profitable?

Typical of my luck, for the first time in a couple of years my HL price has moved into profit so I cleared them out to buy TLOU.
