There has been a suspicion that TG was declining invitations to donate brown paper bags to bent individuals until Lefoko arrived, but I'm off to see what the frogs are doing in the Channel islands.

I agree with some if not all of your observations Appi.
My take on moagi is that he is playing the percentage game - most AIM start-ups fail eventually - so he expects TLOU to fail.
Against all the evidence to the contrary (I'm not going to repeat all the positives) he cannot say how TLOU will fail , but he knows the odds are in his favour. He slams everything he can think of so he can say he was right all along if any one of them transpires. Civil war, wrong sort of methane, inferior sites that KE foisted on us, 66Kv too low, stupid directors , the list is endless!

I restrict myself to the nucleus of a business in a country that is reputed to have a really stable constitution. TG is never going to criticise the Govt whilst they might still fund us for the indefinite future. Burning bridges would be ridiculous while a perfect working partnership is possible. Lefoko is young enough to be in post for long enough to see TLOU becoming viable and I kid myself the Govt will be softer on the cost of the finance that hard-nosed financiers who are in it for money and not much else! Tlou and the Govt dream of exporting power eventually, with both sides benefitting financially and in kudos from neighbours.

The board is regularly criticed unfairly and are sitting ducks on here! Far from Stockholm Syndrome , I react to bully boys who take advantage of mallards!

In the meantime , I won't believe 10 + 11 = 5 unless someone proves it to me! And the mood on bulletin boards do influence the share price! Why do people want news if they are don't intend to act upon it?

The 2 uncrossing trades of 3.05p were the lowest trades of the day ,outside the spread of 3.15 and 3.3 , and the biggest trade was 3.24
The system kept the top of the spread at 3.3 all day long - which made all but the 3.24p trades a sell.
I know it is the low price and narrow spread that contributes to the problem but there has to be a better formula!
Logically why would sells vary such a lot within a few hours and still be credible sells? A primary school kiddy can see that!

It's gonna shw as a sell because someone else tops the list @ 3.222p as a sell - mine is 30k shares.

We differ big time on this. TG has always said he wants an agreement for the future of TLOU, decades worth of funding, repayments, timings etc

And I want that too. Who wants to go through funding delays everytime we add a few more wells, or open Mamba and Boomslang?

The Govt can virtually guarantee the next 40 years today and that was definitely TG's target until he started talking to the new group. They have had a small fraction of the time and information that the Govt had. So we cannot expect them to react that quickly. Due diligence is the hold-up and it was not an option - it simply had to be done - despite a shortage of experts locally because there is no history yet in CBM contracts.

Short and sweet answer - once due diligence report is completed - funding will be sorted with the new group - one way or the other! Either way , the Govt will have a decision to make, one having little or no time and the other with no urgency other than they still need us to provide power.

Just had a communique from Ebay.

I thought I'd paid 66p commission on £11 sell, quite good!
But they have sent me my end of month statement showing I owe them 10% i.e. £1.10 in commission.
So the 66p was for a postage charge on a label I was unable to use!
Good job I did a TG and made my first sell a low priced one.

It explains why the PO cancelled the excess charge of £1.50 and delivered the memory with no excess charge. I'd paid twice for the same delivery!

The Govt did live up to expectations, dewatering did not follow the prototype ar Selemo, and nobody foresaw lockdowns in a country that experiences more pandemics than can dream of!!!!

So where has TG gone wrong apart from trusting outside forces too much?
We are on course for funding, once due diligence is carried out for the first time in CBM, gas flows will improve once dewatering the first ever CBM plant is completed , and work will resume one day with the same work-force who have survived Covid., and know what we are trying to achieve.

It could be so different, workers dying , Lesedi running riot with water and gas out of control , channels silting up , money all spent , support for a chaotic company gone , etc etc etc.

Sometimes NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS but the bad news is than too few on here realise that!

Found the company mentioned by TLOU a while back .....my memory is not as bad as I fear sometimes.... so many people screaming we needs funds ....... none of them coming up with a suggestion as to what we need them for? So no reason to change my mind!
TG wants a PPA to keep shareholders off his back, but unless it is a long term agreement, I don't think he need worry. Once lockdown allows resumption of drilling in parallel with the poles/wires erections there will be more urgency for funding ...... unless one of you can correct eme - which does not look imminent. You are a fool, is not a reason for taking funding early ..... I want something tangible! (MFM the fool is me in that statement, not this board , unless the cap fits).

Back to solar, my idea for an outlet of said funds if there is not stifling lockdowns in the respective countries. TG won't pay up front ,imho , but a deposit might help smooth the wheels.

Earlier, I asked what TLOU would have spent $30M on if they had the funds from day 1 of lockdown in Botswana.
Resurrecting 100% of director's salaries (from 50% for most, and 25% for TG) was easily achieved.
But what else? If funding is so vital before Botswana, Australia and where our solar panels are made. (need to check which two countries - Vietnam, Thailand or somewhere roughly in that vicinity was mentioned).

I am expecting funding to have a repayment holiday of two years - so bringing forward that date by taking unnecessary funding early makes no sense to me, unless funds advance the progress?

If we were known to have $30M in the bank for phases 1 and 2 , hands up those of you who think our tenders for poles/wires/substations would have been more competitive that were for a company with £2.6M available.

As for AA buying out TLOU, is thare a motor company anywhere i the world that buys up the pyramid of companies that contribute te parts for their finished vehicle, or a builder that that makes his own bricks and timber and tiles, or a myriad of large companies who use disposable suppliers rather than have responsibility for keeping the supplier and all their other customers, competitors in many industries, in business?

TG may or may not be looking for a buy out if the price is good enough, but imho the only sensible candidates are going to be multinational energy producers!

I'll tell you one thing, and it would have put us in a worse position than we are now!
Director's salaries would have doubled - and because very few of you would been happy with that, I imagine a total furore on here, the like we have not seen before.

And to offset/justify their pay? The purchase of Solar panels seems most likely, but even those might not be possible to manufacture or deliver! Lockdown, ruling out drilling and solar panels and poles and wires , leaves research into Hydrogen as a possibility. And this board does not support that - so what am I missing?

How 15% becomes 57.5% , but 85% becomes 42.5% is not immediately obvious.

85% of 50% is 42.5% , and 15% of 50% 7.5% so that looks like a typo ( 57.5%) but could be their 50% plus 7.5% of De Beers share , whilst De Beers hold their 50% less that 7.5% that the Govt claim?
