It is precisely commonsense that has convinced me Tony Gilby is everything you say he is not.
Logic and commonsense go hand in glove imho and logic tells me TG has done nothing wrong yet, in fact we get potentially stronger as time passes. Gas will eventually flow, CBM electricity will follow , solar is , at least , feasible , hydrogen fdepends upon Syn, Orapa is pending a decision and agreements.

Commonsense tells me TG is dependent upon Botswana coming up with a compromise like the rest of the world. Time is both the problem and the saviour - TG's frugality is invaluable in the mean time.

If we go back a handful of years, maybe the PPA was fairly important (imho never a priority, TG was prepared to sell to the SAPP, and did not want a big PPA based 2010's prices) but Tlou expected energy prices to keep rising with time and wanted the going rate to apply to deals.

But now CBM could take a back seat behind hydrogen production if necessary. And Solar comes into the equation.

Having a 10Mw PPA. or not, keeps all our options open. IPP path is a bit mysterious, Tlou don't mentioned it much.

I don't think TLOU Energy is a household name, and if newbies come on here to see what we are about (and I am convinced that nearly everyone does that, as do TLOU themselves) if I wasn't aroundall they'd see is half a dozen posters wittering on about how useless the board is and how low the price is for that reason!

If they struck lucky they might find a MM or one of my favourite posters who demonstrate they have a brain and imagination, but too many of that list still persist that a CBM PPA is essential for us to move on.

I love BTS, and know he is being ironic with his posts but a newby would not not realise that.

People under-estimate the power of these boards. Most companies are very adept at bigging themselves up , Chris Fraser in particular, punters want to know the how fellow investors feel about their investment.

For each supportive post from MM and me, they are guaranteed to see several derogatory posts.
They don't who is truthful , believe the trolls , and the sp stays low!

I try my hardest to show why I believe what I do in the hope they can sort the wheat from the chaff.

You accuse TG of issuing ‘same old’ stuff which is exactly what you do!

Wtf you are saying when TG announces a joint venture with hydrogen experts with virtually
no risk of either impinging on the core business of the other. The costs are being shared and so are the
rewards? That saves half the cost for each , PLUS each saving the cost that their partner brings to the party. That is worth 10 years each minimum.

Read the hydrogen post - nobody has commented on it yet so won’t know what it says unless

My hydrogen post should have all of us reaching for our bank cards - getting into the hydrogen industry for 3p is a fabulous opportunity. Why anyone wants to be out (sellers) for coppers blows my mind as well as their potential profits.

Ignore the hydrogen market at your own peril.

Haven't heard of the hydrogen economy and all the new technologies being developed around it?

I now understand the term "money laundering" , it is what companies like Shumba do have earned fithy money from cheap, sustainable coal!

TLOU will have to start talking to this alternative Govt, like Shumba have!
Shumba have loads of coal it seems, and they are clearly inspired! Export it and the greenhouse gases will not pollute Botswana and other countries.
TG has always said there is room for competition in Botswana.

If you invest once a month it will cost £96 per year in charges plus any ad hoc trades at £8 each.

Split your one trade into 3 trades and that is £108 per year plus ad hoc trades at £3 each!
