Clued, "mental issues" is being very kind. I feel sorry for the American people (all of them) he has built a shield of yes men/women, and I can't see an end in site, other than 3 more 3yrs.

It's fascinating watching it all unravel. His personal problems are getting worse for all to see. I believe he only works from 12pm to 5pm now (give or take.)

Denby269, not one for trading BP, been a LTH since 2018, topping up when it looks like a good offer, sadly nearly ran out of money (cash) so rely on the divi, which does pay quite well (never dwell on the past too much) not sure what you mean by 60% not the SP ? surely.

Surely this is all to do with Iran. Poland have advised all their nationals to leave the country ASAP. This tells you something surely. And that other aircraft carrier is plodding away across the Atlantic. America are keeping very quiet about the talks.

If in doubt, hedge your bets (another way to say buy at least some shares. However, if peace is declared, this will drop like a stone, back to the mid £4 before you can say Ramadan (which starts today or yesterday, depending on how good your eyesight is)

It must take a large team of people to put the paperwork together, as well as timescales. As a matter of interest, roughly how long does it take ?? Just asking. This could be the worlds worst kept secret.

By the way, I am not in favour of a US listing, in case someone thinks I'm ramping this up.

I thought the BOD had done quite well recently. The announcement of the new oil discovery could well have kept for 24hrs, and been part of the Q2 update, but it wasn't. To my mind, this gave the SP a double bounce. I doubt if it had been included, that the SP would have gone up as much as it did.(from £3.97 to £4.30 in 2 days)

As for the CO2 thing, I've already posted about this (see under "The devil is in the detail"). There are so many things they have omitted, none more so than the size in barrels of oil. As more and more is released, so the SP will rise.

Have a little patience, things are staring to look a lot brighter, and the new CEO isn't in place yet ....

TinkerT you hit the nail on the head. I was worried when I fist saw that little statement, not really understanding what it meant, but fearing the worse. Thanks to this board, my fears have been laid to rest.
