Well, if the war in Ukraine is anything to go by, logistics is not a strong point of Russia.

Tut tut, talking down the share price, so, you missed the boat, and now looking for a lifeline.

What sort of timeline are you talking of ? (Not 2023, surely ?)

Looks like BP are paying £800M this year (I assume that means this financial year)

Supply is going to get short after 5th December, when Russia gets cut off from oil markets.

Let me summarise the situation.

The world is faced with a pandemic, some earlier than others, but at the end of the day, world is vulnerable to the same situation.

Vaccines are developed, some work better than others. The world makes it’s mind up which are best.

Programs are developed to implement mass vaccination programs (which for the best part work)

The world starts to return to normal.

Except for China.

Why are Chinese people asking why are we still in the same situation as 2 years ago ?

Nomad, I agree. Trouble is, Russia has lots of oil, it's producing lots of oil, what happens when countries stop buying ? Russia can't just turn off the tap (oil doesn't like that)

And even if it finds other markets, it will struggle to get the ships to transport it.

I found this youtube video from a seemingly respectable commentator. It seems that when Europe starts turning off the oil taps (which are still running) pipelines are going to become unusable, very fast (a few weeks)

Some things just seem to get worse for the world

Well, it ended better than I thought. Lots of talk, of wind fall tax, in fact lots of talk, but, we ended in positive territory, I'm sure we will ride out this storm (we will get hit with some sort of extra tax, no doubt) but let's be honest, we can afford it

But not as corrupt as BP.........

Profit taking. I reckon it will drop even more tomorrow, once we're ex divi

(just me being pessimistic) Hope I'm wrong though. Personally, Hope it drops a bit, for divi re invest in mid December
