So, a lot of gas in the middle of nowhere. How many billions will it cost to get to market ?

Been there, done that. Lost a lot of money with Excite Energy. Big oil field in the North sea,. (Bentley) They even did a pilot with BP. Result, the board failed to raise the capital to develop the field. The company lost the license, and went bust.

So, here's a good question. How much oil does BP in it's own right actually produce ? Excluding all parternships.

I think you are confusing the who and what

A buyback benefits shareholders by increasing the percentage of ownership held by each investor by reducing the total number of outstanding shares. In the case of a buyback the company is concentrating its shareholder value rather than diluting it.

I got confused when the article said BP had fallen below $300 in the first line, (and also said "According to 14 analysts, BP shares price target for next year is between $374.94 and $694.50")
Are we to take this seriously ?
