@Jay still despite what you say oil is a contrarian play isn’t it, prices are at multi-year lows but producers are still trading at high P/E multiples. When it turns it’s worth lining up some ducks ready like BP, ENOG, DEC and SHELL but don’t think they will outpace gold producers in the immediate future. Is there anything else beating gold??

Agree it matters but the qualifier you’ve omitted is the funds have fallen 15% from near record highs. If you’ve spread your eggs over the past 10-20 years and only draw minimal percentage of your pension like the majority do it won’t make much difference for the average person.

They received an over subscribed fundraising at almost no discount to the share price for $50m, half will go towards fast tracking production increase from 12 mil ounces to 20 mil ounces. The rest is sat on the balance sheet for working cashflow as they ramp up towards that 12 mil ounces. Not sure why I’m arguing as you haven’t done your research there and likewise I haven’t done mine here. My original point was in answer to a comparison made using questionable metricc and subsequent false statements about their cash position which is $75m at the last market update.. we are going round in circles..

They had $95m up until 28th March when they made the first quarterly debt repayment of $20m and are already making more than this so talk of creditors is frankly ridiculous.

No need to misquote actual figures, anyone can see they have a cash pile of $75m..

You are talking about net debt which is the difference between what they have in cash and what they have as debt on the balance sheet. Of course they have debt as they just built a mine 😆 the debt isn’t all due tomorrow either. They paid their first quarter payment yesterday and will be paying down the rest over two years.

I have no idea what this company is making that’s why I asked but you seemed to take offence and quibble about Adriatics actual cash pile..

If this company is making $300 mil with new mines and they don’t need to borrow $100m or more to get to that point you may be right.

It would be conceivable for both companies to prosper at the same time.

Adriatic started producing last year so can’t really compare their 2024 numbers. 12 million ounces silver is their target so that’s $400m revenue and they already have a decent $75m cash pile. In a couple of years they could be turning $650m. What are Anglo Asian aiming for this year?
