Agree with Slacker that they'll need to focus on the benefits to OBD at some point as well as the clinical case.

I'm happy for that to come with a trading update to be honest. If it's anything like the Episwitch CiRT then the initial cost may be 4 figures possibly reducing with economies of scale.

My point remains, if Bob's reputation is to be trusted in the context of achieving a good result with SolGold then it's not unreasonable to expect a resume of sorts to allow an opinion to be formed.

To say he will have been involved in all the deals is again deflecting from the root of the question at hand. If Bob is negotiating for us (and moreso if people want to continue blowing smoke up his backside) then it's only right we should discuss his background in detail.

If Bob is a recognised and successful deal maker in the sector, can anyone tell me which deals of significance he has been involved in? He doesn't name them.

Whilst he founded Maxit you know full well that other senior brokers he has employed bring their own achievements and client portfolios, which effectively then fall under the Maxit banner because nobody questions it.

My intentions are genuine. I'm trying to point out that other than a long term relationship with Osisko, Bob's achievements over the last decade or two are to be assumed rather than stated.

Add - I'm not that interested in the firm. Im focussing on Bob specifically. He's the guy directly involved. He engineered this reverse takeover with CGP. He's the one who other SOLG shareholders are hanging their hats on.

Bob gets a great rep as a kingmaker in mining but all i can find is $60m of transactions.

That could be bucket shop placings for all we know. It could include previous transactions with Newcrest for example.

I don't believe my cynicism is unjustified.

Does anyone actuslly know what deals Bob Sangha has worked on? He seems to get a great rep in these parts but it's pretty difficult to find specifics on line regarding tne transactions he brokered.

There is some info on the rather public disagreement he had with his former exployer though.

I'm not sure how you can say that £1.3m for a land package that could be barren is "cheap as chips" but there you go.

We're still a junior and we can have as much confidence as we like that the geology is right but we've got to box clever and defer as much of the consideration as we can get away with.

If we consider that companies will often pay up to £250k for licence areas, it's understandable we're paying a bit more considering the strategic importance.

I just wish they'd look after shareholders a bit better when using funds. The share capital has boomed here over the last 2 years and that's without warrant exercises. We still, for now at least, have nothing to show for it.

I'm pleased to see the acquisition itself as it means we now have a contiguous land package out in the KCB.

However, I can't help but feel the terms are a bit disappointing. Why are we giving them $2.5m Aussie with no conditions precedent?

A better deal IMO would have been a small up front payment and then further payments in the event a resource is declared via a JORC standard report. Again a further payment upon nameplate production, etc.

Thankfully the exchange rate means we're looking at c.£1.3m.

DM - if people aren't stressed at this juncture it's because they are fortunate to have an inside scoop or they simply don't know what they have invested in.

For rational investors who take a holistic view, it's entirely reasonable to pose the questions you have. It's not good enough that they can throw stuff into the MD&A. That is simply a Canadian regulatory requirement that a large portion of UK shareholders won't be following. There's no reason why, for example, they can't release a business update via RNS every 6 weeks or so.

It's great to suggest sales and shareholder returns but current share price gives context. If Warren is right and the SP continues to edge south then I'd be very worried indeed.

Those positions will likely all be unwound at around 0.9p Legalwolf, if not sooner.

The positive here is that if it comes off for Purebond with an average of about 1.2p then it should come off for any KAV holders who have averaged down or manage to do so in the future.

It's going to need a pretty mammoth result from Zim or a breakthrough at KCB. My preference for the latter, as whilst it brings in new capital requirements, it also transforms the company into one with a potentially decent discovery/asset.

If you're here to ramp, which it appears you are given that Orthern and myself are supposedly deramping, then at least wait until a commodities bull market and some good news from the company rather than repeat the old fluff ad verbatim.

Instead, you could take an objective view and not insult people's intelligence. You could hold your hands up and say "look, we're heading for 13p support and 10p if that goes. This might happen but I still think the company will come through."

Nowhere have I said this is a busted flush, but I worry about the direction of the strategic review and I worry that we could get a low-ball if the market falls further. I've said in the past that if the company is in significant discussions then market should be made aware and I've also given some concerns as to why this isn't happening.

If someone is genuinely on the fence reading this board, and there's two views, which should be believed at a market multi-year low? The market tells the story, 13p and change tells a story - it's closer to mine, Orthern's and DM's story unfortunately.

If you claim to know me like Fort then you should have a feel for my personality by now. I don't advertise my dealing and similarly I don't feel like the world revolves around me, and therefore you won't see me involved where I don't have an interest. Life is simply too short.
