RE: Filo deal values Solgold at 154p.17 Mar 2025 20:45
Redknight - this forum does not lend itself to quoting so I'll try my best to answer your points.
"Please give me one iota of evidence of that. You say you own Solgold but you keep talking it down when you actually know nothing to support your views."
You mean to tell me that you can't see what is going on? Are you so clueless? The evidence includes but is not limited to:
- the employment of individuals that are not sufficiently experienced to lead a company trying to develop a tier one asset. The appointment of Vujcic into the top role is as damning an indication of this as you will get.
- selling the SolGold Canada shares to Jiangxi at a very cheap price in a desperate attempt to provoke some sort of reaction. That is the very definition of a firesale.
- failing to update the market on the deliverables for the Franco & Osisko agreement, instead opting for the pivot towards "escalation and ExploreCo" with a concerning lack of detail being shared in relation to both.
"Do you know how ridiculous that makes you?"
I'll never be as ridiculous as you. Some of remember all of your antics down the years. Deramping, buying, ramping, selling and deramping. Not to mention the crowing over how many shares you and your wife hold, have bought and your trading commentary, all under the guise of "helping others", or helping yourself rather.
"I look forward to chuckling with glee when that unsubstantiated opinion fails to materialise..."
Why will it fail to materialise? The shares are trading sub 8p. This elaborate new plan for ExploreCo is due in as little as 2 weeks time. If it coincides with a sale of Cascabel at some point during the quarter or second half of the year, how do you suppose the shares are going to trade 600% higher in a matter of weeks? You've been around long enough to know how the markets work - name a company that has delivered that sort of performance so quickly.
To put it simply, if the market believed that new management was going to deliver the SP would be back at 10-12p now. Instead, we have lots of PIs trading round the edges. I feel for Rodney and his list of shareholdings.
"Give us just one piece of evidence to support that...(SOLG are struggling to progress the asset)"
Red - they've sacked the CEO, they've raised a slug of funds at a bargain price that vastly undervalues YOUR valuation of the company. They haven't updated us on the geotechnical drilling and TSF plans.
How many more pieces of evidence do you need?
"But those more bullish metals prices have NOT been reflected in mining shares except for a few.
You dissed me for choosing a period for compariosn but you are doing EXACTLY the same by choosing shares that have performed well recently while SOLG has languished..."
Idiotic. I countered you when you said that SOLG was acceptably priced down here based on the performance of BHP. I simply refuted your feeble attempt to justify the poor performance of the shares through a super majo
