I agree with you but I think it's a good conversation to have now because any unusual behaviour can be a pointer towards what might come next.

The Denton's piece is through a fairly niche lens so should be considered with the circumstances of that specific case in mind.

A CEO doesn't go rogue and complete a financing that hasn't been agreed between senior management of the company and then take a seaf on the board! Haha.

The fact of the matter is that a subscription from a single investor for shares held by a subsidiary is about as simple as it gets equity wise.

It could have been sorted in a day or two. Draft up the purchase agreement, sign it, tansfer the stock and take the cash.

I appreciate I'm also speculating but crikey. I'd go as far to say there's a 90% chance Dan sorted this and 10% Scott.

Rodney - would you not agree that if Scott was instrumental to the Jiangxi deal that it would have been announced whilst he was CEO?

The announcement clearly says that Dan Vujcic was responsible for it.

My reading between the lines is that Scott vacated position the day before the RNS announcing the new CEO. Vujcic started on the day of the announcement and subsequently sold the stock to Jiangxi. It may even have been the play that got him promoted.

Scott was asked regularly about selling the SOLG Canada shares and I remember was his response was. I find it very difficult to accept that he then sold them unless the FNV/OR agreement has got off-track.

SolGold had $13.2m cash on hand at 31/12/24 after the bridging loan was repaid and capitalised exploration expenses were paid. In other words, that balance wasn't under immediate pressure.

So why do you keep posting then?

SunDrum - I'm not saying we need to know every line of the contract (some would appreciate that granular level of detail). I would like to get a feel for what the runway is for the next 3-6 months though.

We've all waited so long to get to this stage and have had to endure a lot of rubbish about the company's capabilities. Now I want to see the company hit the market with a plan to get this built over the next couple of years.

This is accounting for the fact that you don't pick up any other poster who isn't uber positive about the company.

1. I don't like the look of the new management team as far as derisking the Cascabel project is concerned. I believe Scott was a mining guy. Whether he achieved what was required is a separate debate.

2. I'm mildly encouraged by ExploreCo but believe it has come 2 years too late and it has already been tarred by a poor sale of the SOLG Canada stock to Jiangxi.

3. I believe the share price will pick up over the coming weeks if the company communicates clearly and with exciting initiatives that it goes on to execute. Trust has been lost and it can only be regained by market by SOLG doing what it says it will.

In the meantime, I'd like to thank PBow for actual meaningful research and objective commentary of current affairs impacting the company. You can see this across the elections, MD&A and other events in Ecuador.

That is the bar to aim for. Those people have street cred.

Not quite SunDrum. The RNS clearly states that the finance is subject to the completion of definitive loan documentation and the company satisfying the conditions within, which remain undisclosed to shareholders.

So whilst it's promising to see the two banks come together to form the syndicate for Longonjo, we're still only 95% over the line.

Hopefully there's an update soon to confirm we meet these conditions and those imposed by ABSA.

Once we get this, I don't think anyone can take anything away from the achievements of the Pensana team.

So when does Ozango receive the money? Anyone know?

I'm not interested in the chairman. He's here for vanity purposes to stop the squawking from those who believe it will make a difference. His platitudes about shareholder value are empty as far as I'm concerned. I believe that because the company regularly alludes to the shareholder value it has provided previously.

At the end of the day, if you don't want to be picked up on your commentary that has the sole aim of trying to attract people to buy your shares higher than you bought them for, maybe comment with a bit more balance.
