Oh Lewlil, it didn't take very long for your MO to come to the fore. I should have known yesterday with your Sunstone Metals interest that you'd like be a disgruntled Cornerstone shareholder looking to wind up SolGold shareholders.
To answer your questions:
Have you seen anything to suggest that Nick Mather is desperate to sell? I haven't. No arms waving screaming "FOR SALE", no continuous bleating about the asset. We've put out our PEA showing fairly robust economics based on an out of date resource and we're quietly advancing the pre-feasibility study through the technical drill-outs and other tests ongoing.
Nick has offered his explanation within the last fortnight on the current share price when he was asked why it's languishing. His answer was entirely reasonable as was his suggestion on what would get us moving back in a positive direction.
The company are no longer releasing regular drill results because the current drill campaign dictates that regular market updates are not of the same significance and relevance as the earlier drills. The RNS of 19 July goes into more detail and clearly states that they're targeting resource extensions at Alpala Northwest, Trivinio, Alpala North and Alpala Southeast and the drilling fleet is expanding to carry out this work alongside the geotechnical, hydrological, hydrogeological, metallurgical and petrophysical work required to advance the project further.
Hardly the FOR SALE BUY ME NOW behaviour you're suggesting.
I've also seen nothing to suggest he's happy to see the SP languishing. Just look at how many shares and out of the money options he holds. Pretty silly statement.
Regarding the intended takeover of Cornerstone, that's all it is until the company decides to make a formal offer. I find it interesting that CGP shareholders are bemoaning the time that has passed considering they were all rejecting the offer out of hand. If you go to a used car showroom and they want to buy your car for $1000 but you believe it's worth $2000 you walk out and say no more on the matter... don't you?
But we all know what Cornerstone are and we all know that their shareholders are desperately holding out for an increased offer, pushing these pretty average results at Bramaderos as a way to try and boost the company valuation. Pah, give it a rest fellas. You'll get what you're given and you'll know in your heart of hearts it's a sensible offer and a gateway into a much bigger and better company.
