RE: Friday close26 Oct 2018 21:09
The company has "had a mare" because it was "expecting" to drill Dorothe in November/December, because "maybe" they could get the work started before the end of the year. This despite Vince later confirming in June that Dorothe drilling was being pushed back to early to mid next year whilst they executed a plan to get the human, financial and mechanical resources in place.
You're a sharp guy. Sharp enough to differentiate between maybe and definitely. I get your frustration but with all due respect I think you're offside with your remarks.
If we haven't started drilling Dorothe before the end of June 2019 with no good reasoning then please vent away.
The last link you kindly put up was the IG interview. I've had a listen and I couldn't hear anything about Cotè d'Ivoire results. I did hear plenty I'd half disregarded so thanks for the reminder. I don't know about you but assuming the field campaign ran until May or June with samples packed off to the lab shortly after. Add in 6-8 weeks for processing time assuming no delays and that takes us to late August or early September. So I can only assume there's a hold up of some sort at the lab. Again, if we don't hear anything in the next month, time to question where they are.
I think it's fair to say the company has experienced challenges in 2018 but this is resource exploration, not everything will run to time all of the time. Investors need to show a degree of patience. Look at the GWMO RNS today. Count your lucky stars you don't have millions of those because they're good for one thing.......
It's about time we remember the positives:
•Promising first results on the lithium front and some mouthwatering areas with very exciting geophysic results to come.
•Potential multi-million deposit at Dorothe to be delineated with potentially many more millions of ounces at Kalaka. Interest from majors 4 months ago. 40km gold strike 100% owned. 40km!!!
•Intriguing areas in Cote d'Ivoire which I'm sure will be explored further in the coming months. New licences on application. Lithium prospectivity too.
•Bauxite and iron resources being maintained ready for when prices turn further in our favour.
Where would you have invested in the last 12 months and made good gains. What else were you looking at when you started buying IRR?
