The SOLG share price is tracking sideways at the moment as I'm sure you have noticed and there is very little volatility to it. We're well within that 21-24 range and more recently that has contracted to 21.5-23.5

When the price tracks sideways with no indication of a trend it is possible for the next move to be north or south. This is likely to be dependent on the news released. More high grade extensions at Alpala and you'd expect the strength to return, but if Nick was to raise some more cash in the high teens, you could see weakness for a while.

News will take over here in the coming months and technicals will likely become less reliable.

Feel this will play out to a tee FR101. Had the triangle myself when updating my chart back end of last week.

It's tight and has been building for 8weeks +.

When this breaks out, up or down, it's going to be pretty aggressive.

I'm hoping this is the company setting a target it can quite comfortably achieve and beat. 10mt of cu and 25m oz au isn't to be sniffed at but I think the market would really love any upgrade on this.

There's nothing to be gained and a lot to be lost for aiming for 20mt and 40moz to fall short(example).

Yep tried to get this one going a couple of weeks ago earthling, admittedly amongst the havoc SC was creating.

I think this will possibly be the highest priority of our other projects. Interesting that SOLG regards all 10 to be potentially world class. I'd imagine the information is flooding in from the subsidiaries at a rate of knots.

I would imagine this will be a selling point for the next capital raise some time early next year. We'll probably see more results from further rock sampling in the meantime.

Juju, it was arranged last November. Newcrest we're offered the opportunity to maintain their stake, which I'm pretty sure they took up.

If they have bought $9m on the open market they have done it very slyly given the price action. I'm not ruling it out, but it's doubtful.

I'm in agreement with you FR101. A rehash of recent news with some bullish statements. Welcome coverage but not the sort of stuff thst would likely increase confidence in the wider msrket.

That was literally a 5 minute scan of articles within the last year or so.

In terms of the TSX company - $GLDN. Not a ramp or a rec to buy but something that we should be tracking and measuring v Cascabel.

There's a couple earlier in the process. For example a company listed on the TSX has announced a discovery this afternoon. £15m mcap.

How it will measure up with Alpala, we'll find out in 3 years.

I'm working through companies with copper resources at the moment following my exchange with our favourite realist the other day, and other than the large mines we are well aware of that are becoming more depleted with each passing year I haven't come across anything yet that measures up to Alpala.

I think it's very encouraging the company are using a 1% cut off for some intersections. That must be relatively unheard of as far as porphry discoveries are concerned.

I've been looking at some of our compatriots in the markets and I'm seeing a lot of 0.1%, 0.25% etc. They seem to be missing the high grade core Alpala has.

55R is the one for me, this is extension and therefore previously unaccounted for resource. 57 is great but infill.

Very positive. At £400m MCAP each drilling update isn't going to give us 10% shifts.

If people want to trade explorer news look for the companies with a £2m mcap. Where updates are material.
